The following was plucked from another thread - Viewing mail in Live Mail

Does anyone have any insight or info abiut this?

If past improvements are any indication, I suspect that what the MicrosoftForum Moderator has stated is only a pipe dream. Lord I hope I am sorely mistaken.
I have an issue which has been a thorn in my side for nearly three years and shows no sign of being resolved.
Never the less, I will continue to post my suggestions on the link he has provided. The problem is that other Windows Live Mail users will never see any suggestions posted on that site. Perhaps a suggestion site open to all viewers and contributors would be much more effective.

I'd love to heard your comments,

Tom

They were all there yesterday evening and now they are all gone.  I've tried getting by clicking on the "To" and also by going into "People".  While in "People" I've clicked on the tools button but only options are "Feedback" and "Help" which just brings me to FAQ's.  This is really scary, I need these for work.

Hey everyone!
I have some troubles using the copy and paste function of Skydrive's Excel Web App.
If I copy e.g. 4 cells (of an offline excel document) with different contents and paste them into the online document, the contents of all 4 cells would appear in one single cell instead of 4 separated cells like it should be ... not sure if I have been precise enough. Let me share an example with you :)

OFFLINE
Cell 1: Orange
Cell 2: Lemon
Cell 3: Apple
Cell 4: Banana

If I copy all 4 cells and paste them into the online excel doc it would appear like that:

ONLINE
Cell 1: Orange
           Lemon
           Apple
           Banana

Does anyone know how to solve this? :)

I'd appreciate your feedback on this!

Thanks, have a good weekend!
Cheers, Chris

PS: don't know if it's relevant, but I'm using a mac os x 10.9

When I try to access my SkyDrive folders, I get a blank page, page says done at the bottom left of screen, however there is an icon, a yellow triangle with an exclamation point, hovering mover it says there are errors on the page.   When clicked I get a box with an error message in it, I have copied and pasted the error from that box below:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB7.5; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET4.0C; AskTbORJ/5.15.25.36191; BOIE8;ENUSSEM)

I get this on mulitple accounts and, again, on every computer in my house.  Ever since the change over from Hotlook.com to Outlook, I have had nothing but problems after problems with my e-mail and skydrive accounts.   They really *should* go back to Hotmail.com, it worked, I never had any issues like I do now.  I never had a problem accessing files on skydrive and neither did my friends/family I shared some of those files with.  But even they are having issues getting to the files and getting the same errors.

I have sent feedback several days ago about this to MSN, as well as again today about SkyDrive still having this issue.  To me, it appears ths problem is on the server coding end of it and that some change or update was done and now SkyDrive is no longer functioning correctly.    There are some files I really need to re-access and download, as I use SkyDrive as a backup area for some of my special files, and now can't even see them, I can go to the folders fine, but once clicked on to open and view the files, I get nothing but a blank page, but I know the files are still there!

Could someone please fix this issue, so I can access my SkyDrive and files.

Hello....

I have added many domains in domains.live.com and they are no options to add "supper admin or helpdesk admin", so how to do that?
Please let me & send the tutorial link.

Waiting for your feedback.

Hi,

Is it possible to create a shared group task in outlook 2010 using an exchange server?

What I would like to do is to have a task folder for a team of 6 people (separate from the default task list). In this task folder everyone should be able to assign tasks to anyone.

Till now I create a folder as a task item and shared it with the others. They see this task folder and I can assign tasks to them.
If the others tries to assign task to another one, this task will appear in shared task list but the email won't get delivered.
If they try to assign task to me an error message appears that "you can assign a task to yourself" or something like this.

I've changed the permission level to all to owner but still not working properly.

Am I doing something wrong or this is just simply not possible?

Thank you I and I hope to get a feedback.
I have two Hotmail accounts - one for personal use and one for professional use.  I am able to log into the personal use account but when I try to switch over to the professional use I get an error that says that there is something wrong with it.  Can anyone explain this?  How can it be that there is no avenue for information about this error from Microsoft?  I've reported it every time I've tried to log in, but that appears to be nothing but a black hole (I get no feedback).  I can find nowhere that I can actually get information on what could be causing this.
Can someone help me, almost daily my email acct (junk mail) receiving emails from people advertising 'ladies' or '****' etc. Some emails come disguised as being from someone you know that you open them and the are quite explicit about the services they offer others just state their intent on the subject line. I have tried using manage rules which worked in the beginning but who ever is sending them is getting a little more crafty and the manage rules is no longer able to stop them. This is really starting to stress me out as our email acct is used by the whole family - kids included and is only a matter of time before my kids are going to open one of these emails. I'm actually at the point now where I am going to shut down my email account because I am so feed up with getting these emails. Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop them?
Below you can read the answer of the two dopes who work on this site. One, Marvelous Merc, informs me that there is a limit to how many emails I can send out -- BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO SEND A SINGLE EMAIL from this account which was blocked since inception. The 2nd numbnuts sends me back to the help desk which I have been trying to get help from since the beginning --  to no avail at all. Meanwhile, all somebody has to do is unblock my account which was blocked for absolutely no good reason, as there was no unusual activity on the account -- I just started it!  UNREAL. I am returning my windows phone that started all this, I mean, if these idiots make it so difficult to open an outlook email account, imagine how they will screw up phone support.
My Account has been Blocked for three weeks -- GREAT JOB HOTMAIL!
I recently bought a windows phone, and I set up a hotmail account for this phone shortly after, maybe 3 weeks ago. For some strange reason, Outlook temporarily blocked my account, citing unusual activity. I don;t see how this is possible, since I just started the account and never used it. They sent me to verify my account with a phone number. Unfortunately, the geniuses who set up this phone verification do not consider Sierra Leone, where I am, to be a country, and so I cannot verify my account, which 3 weeks later is still blocked. I have sent numerous emails to the help desk,  and recently I got this answer from MERC, who is an advanced specialist. This dunderhead tells me that there is a limit to how many emails I can send at the start of an account (see below). However, I have not been able to send a SINGLE email from this account, since they blocked it almost immediately.  Today, I get another message from Hotmail advising me to verify my account -- which of course I have done many times and can;t because the experts at Hotmail do not recognize that Sierra Leone, in West Africa, is a country.

All they have to do is unblock my account, which I have asked them to do many times. But that would be too simple for the advanced support team that includes Marvelous Merc. Have never had anything similar happen to gmail accounts. Now i regret buying a windows phone -- as who knows how lousy that support system is?

Hi,

I am Merc, I'm a Senior Support Analyst for Microsoft. I am part of the Outlook.com Support Escalations Team.
We apologize that your country is not listed on the country list to verify your account through your mobile phone. You can send a feedback regarding this on this page.
Regarding the sending limit, you will have to continue using the account but please note that since your account is new, there is a daily limit to your sending capabilities.
Continue using the account to increase your reputation and this limit will increase.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thanks!
Merc

This issue has been a thorn in the side of Windows Live Mail users for nearly three years. Moderators, past and present, keep beating around the bush, trying to placate who raise the issue, but the Issue does not get resolved. Why? In my humble opinion, the Morerators cannot fix this, only Microsoft can. Why then are we not just told - Microsoft cannot or will not fix this issue, simple and to the point.

A brief history of this issue follows - - -

When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show.

Unfortunately, this is still a known issue with the client. The product team is still working on a fix, which should be included in the next release of the program. Please stand by for further updates about this issue.

As already confirmed on this thread, this is a known issue with Live Mail that should be fixed in the next release of the client. I'm afraid we still have no exact time to confirm when the next release will be. Updates should be posted in these forums.
