Hello there,
I am trying to add my Facebook Notification feed in WLM. It was something I have been doing for the past year but since I have formatted, I cannot add the feed back again. I get an error saying that it is not a valid feed. I can add the feed to any other RSS client that I try it with, so the feed is valid. I don't feel comfortable posting my Facebook feed here, so if you could kindly point me in the direction of where I can get assistance in private, that would be great.
I am using Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)
Thank you!

When I paste an url from a feed into WLM (e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/fooc, or http://theconversation.com/uk/feeds) , WLM reports that these are not valid urls.
Other RSS feeds are quite happy to accept these, and identify and subscribe to them.
What is it that WLM does not understand?
Hello,
One of my colleagues is having an issue importing .ics files from iCal to Outlook 2011 (both the Calendar itself as well as via outlook.office365.com).
That being said, I have a couple of questions:
1.) Is it possible to import .ics files from iCal to Outlook 2011 seamlessly and in real time (without any breaks)?
2.) Is it possible to keep the Out of Office Calendar entries from saying "busy" without manually changing it to "free?"
Nothing that we found online seemed to work, so hopefully this can resolve our issues.
I apologize in advance if I got any of the terms wrong. Not really used to Outlook 2011!
Thank you so much for your assistance!
The geotag feature of Photo Gallery is a great opportunity that seems to fail to be useful in several ways:
1) The ability to find landmarks is far from ideal. See this repeatedly - currently trying to associate a group of photos with the The Acropolis, Athens (Akropolis, Athens) and geotag search fails. Bing Maps can find these places with no trouble at all. Why the disparity?
2) Alternatively, the user has added pins to a collection in Bing Maps with all the tags they'd like to use. Photo Gallery does not appear to leverage the Microsoft account to check Bing Maps for geotag locations.
3) There doesn't seem to be a format of GPS co-ordinate that the geotag box in Photo Gallery will accept.
Thanks
Hi,
Have just moved to Windows Live Mail, newly installed on Windows 7 PC. On start up get a message "Installation of RSS Feed support failed. RSS feeds could not be updated".
I have no feeds live, all disabled. All software and windows up to date. Have "repaired" WLM. - these all suggestions I found on other forums but nothing has changed the pop up.
Does not effect email ability to send receive, just a bit annoying so would be good to remove - if only I knew how....
Any ideas out there?
Is there anyway one can backup/Restore RSS feeds from one computer to another? This is in WLM 2012.
I have hundreds of feeds in my WLM2012 and I need to move them to another computer - Laptop so that I have access to them whenever I need to.
I didn't find the appropriate topic from this drop-down list so perhaps these forums are over-kill to a certain extent when all I want is straight answer to a straight question.
Thanks.
