I have had issues with the SkyDrive desktop app in Windows 8.1 since I updated from windows 8. (Clean install update) The SkyDrive host process keeps crashing so the app never updates. Is there a way to fix this like re-installing the desktop app? As I understand it, skydrive is now fully integrated into Windows 8.1 so it cannot be simply re-installed.... I also keep having permission issues where office 365 cannot save to my skydrive files since it doesn't have permissions to do so, even though I am the only user (Administrator) on the PC.
