have done all the uninstalls, fixes, everything I've read on here.  I still get the same error message.

using:  windows 8, Toshiba laptop,

have had a windows live Hotmail account for years.  outlook is not the answer, I need to use windows live.

I have read and tried all the instructions on all of the posts---someone please help with this.
