I have a hotmail account that I've had for more than 10 years, that I only used mostly for msn chat - it was not used for email much. About a year ago, my login on msn chat stopped working. I assumed it was a problem with my password. It turns out that
somebody hijacked the account and is now using it themselves.
I'm going to have trouble retrieving this account - I have already tried the Account Recovery process but without success, and this is going to be difficult as I have not used the account for a while, and hardly ever used it for email.
Information that I can provide includes:
historical passwords
archived MSN chat records
addresses of MSN chat contacts and historical email recipients
I appreciate that you have a standard account recovery process, but I'm very worried that this is not going to work in my situation, for the reasons above. I'm also concerned that if my account is returned to me, the person that stole it will use account
recovery to get it back, as they have been using it recently.
Thanks,
-Tim
