I honestly think I made a large boo bo. I had a Verizon X phone and I had no problems with the emails coming in on my Windows Account. Now, I have established a windows email account thru my isp - Roadrunner. However, I just upgraded my phone to the new Razer and things went to heck in a handbasket. First off - evidently Verizon uses their account data to setup their phone via google. Well, I maintain several Google Sites and Groups under separate sign-ins and that is when things were bad. The phone refused to connect until I gave it one of the names in my Google account. Then it did not forward everything so I looked for keeping emails on the servers. That is an exercise in multiple clicks. Each place has some unknown rules and instructions so I did what I thought was making sense. I messed with that for well over 3 weeks and then I found a location on my phone to bypass the google stuff. That helped but I noticed today that not all emails are coming into my windows account. Some do, some do not! Along the line I found that when I installed Windows 7 the software required that I sign-up with google? I did and promptly forgot the name and password so I established a new account. Not a good choice! I did go into windows and delete the account that I installed and things got slightly better. I found out that Windows 7 also required me to have a Hotmail account. Then I discovered that a new program "Outlook" was in the system and it was similar to Hotmail. That is when I became completely confused and I searched and searched for help. That is why I landed here. Nowhere could I find out where I could check the various email names I had with the Microsoft Servers and I honestly think my email thinks I have another name because when I ask either outlook or Hotmail to add this roadrunner email name, it responds "That E-mail is already associated with the live account data". That is the short story made long and the question is actually: "Has anyone had a similar problem with their Verizon Phone and email?" If so, what did you do? Thanks for your time and effort..
