I have gotten this same request before & I am no closer to getting my password reset than when I started 4 days ago. What to I need to do to talk to someone who can actually help me?
Here is some information (again).
I have filled out that questionnaire many times.
The problems are:
1 I created that account in Alabama, I now live in Iowa.
2 The e-mail address and the phone number to send the reset information to are both invalid now.
3 I don't own an X-box.
4 I used the account as a receive only. There are no subject lines or contacts anymore. I used the account as a Spam filter. The few replies I made with it have been long deleted.
I need to talk to a human being to explain what happened. you can contact me at 515-333-7296 or *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Right now, all my microsoft based e-mail accounts are blocked. Even the new outlook.com address I created a few weeks ago.
Please just call me and let me talk to a human. You are about the 5th person I have been shuffled off to. I don't need the e-mail account so much as it is my log-in to Microsoft Money. Without the reset, I cannot access over 6 years of bank data that I needed on the 1st of this month. Please contact me in person!!!

I've had a Hotmail email account for many years and my profile has my name, address, photo, DOB, etc. Right now, I need a document that shows the email address is registered to me. How do I request a hardcopy of my account details from Microsoft?
Obviously, for someone else's account, this would have to be done through a legal request but what are the steps for requesting my own account information and is there a way to expedite this request (don't mind paying a fee)?
Thank you!
SY.
I have been unable to access my Outlook.com email account for the past week. The issue started when I was unable to fetch new mail from the POP server. I wasn't sure what the problem was a the time, but when I tried to sign in at outlook.com I received the following message:
Your account has been closed
I have filled out the account recovery form numerous times and I haven't received much for response. The last response I received was:

I didn't violate any of the terms of use, so I am assuming that my account was hacked and used for spamming purposes. I reset my account password a few days ago but that didn't make a difference in regards to my account being re-opened.
Is there anyway I can verify the account so it can be re-opened? I really need access to my email asap, and I am willing to provide any verification to get things back to normal.
Thank you.

I've been pointed here by one of the agents from a Microsoft customer service live chat but after a quick browse of the forum this doesn't seem like the place to raise user specific queries with account details etc. Not sure how he thinks I will be able to get the right help here without disclosing my relevant email address etc but here's the problem:
When trying to sign in to my old account I get a message saying "That Microsoft account doesn't exist"; this is strange as I know this account definitely does (or should) exist; I checked I'd entered my details correctly numerous (read: at least 10-15) times, I have e-mails between both the inaccessible account and my latest account and this (inaccessible) account is also actually the one set up as a backup e-mail address for my latest account (as well as providing the login details for a few of my other online accounts). The fact I can no longer access it is extremely worrying as you can probably imagine. Any ideas what on earth is going on please? Do Microsoft now delete accounts when they are inactive even if they are still being used indirectly for login details, backups etc? Surely not.
If this is the case though - what is Microsoft's policy on recovering the old account? How do I get it back? I'd be grateful for anyone who has any insight to share their thoughts.
