I have an employee who created a microsoft account with her work email so she could install her new Office Home and Business 2013.
She was getting error messages every time she would open it regarding activating the product online. After searching this site I seen a suggestion to reinstall the product so I uninstalled, rebooted and started to reinstall.
I am now at the screen to log into the microsoft account. I cannot because the password has been forgotten. I have the reset link sent to email, it gives me this error message every time I click it:
"There's a temporary problem
There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."
I tried creating a new account but I'm assuming this isnt working because the key is linked to the old microsoft account. I'm not sure, but when I enter the key and enter the new account info I'm taken to a screen that says I don't have any microsoft products
and to go to the store...
So the account it was installed with before is locked and/or requesting password change doesnt work.
This is a huge pain, if anyone could help me how to get her back working again I would appreciate it.
