I have changed my account password so many time, but one day i changed my phone number and forgot to change it on here. Now i am locked out of my account.i can't download any apps because my lap top continues to ask for a password which i do not remember anymore. Please help me. I have been stuck like this for hours.

Hi,

Please can you close my Hotmail (and associated Outlook.com) account? The account has been compromised and used for fraudulent purposes. I have taken the precaution of changing the account password, but I would like to have it deleted permanently. I am no longer using the account.

I have followed the account cancellation procedure on Outlook.com, which directs me to close my Hotmail account first. This in turn tells me that I need to close my associated billing account. I don't have a billing account so I can get no further.

The issue I'm having closing the account seems similar to this person:

it looks as if Microsoft has to enable a reset user account password for you. Can someone from Microsoft do this for us

I am using outlook mail service with my domain(www.goldenvertex.com.mm). It was difficult when we open new email account with domain name because it need to make Mobile Message Activation. In our country(Myanmar), it not available for activation. And when we want to reset existing account password, it not include this feature. So, we would like to request this two feature to support team.

Account/Password Recovery Trouble

Good evening everyone. a current family member has had her account password hacked/stolen. We have tried the regular routes to try to recover the password as in with the security question was not an option since she had the account for a very long time and forgot the answer. Also after chatting with a Live agent she directed me to the form to fill out with the account info and the last emails send and whatnot. The problem is that when trying to submit the form there is a message that pops up saying that there have been too many recovery requests for the account which is weird since there were no requests that were made that i know for a fact (I know that Microsoft has a 3 requests per 24 hours rule) which is leading me to believe that someone else might be trying to access the account. I tried to find a phone number to talk to an agent but that proved fruitless since Outlook.com does not have any phone support I believe. If anyone else have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

SkyDrive for Mac keeps asking my credentials and folder location every time

Every time I start up my Mac, SkyDrive shows me the "Welcome to SkyDrive" screen, asks for my account password and folder location.

I've tried uninstalling it and installing the latest version, but the problem persists.

I'm using OS X 10.8.5 and SkyDrive 17.0.

What can I do to make it remember my credential and SkyDrive folder?

I keep receiving lots of emails from 'Microsoft account team' asking to confirm the reset of my account password. I didn't try to reset my password. I think someone is trying to hack me. How to prevent this?

I had a problem adding an ipad to my account and phoned what looked like a genuine Microsoft help line, it was not.

They had remote control of my computer for a few moments before I realised and reset my password, contact e-mail and phone number.

How can I reset my account password? I am are using 2 step verification and my contact email and phone number have been changed and the other method is automatically ignored because I am using 2 step verification.

I have phoned support and was told to use the password recovery link which due to these reasons will not work and then to try live help, which is not available for Hotmail/outlook support.

I'm actually asking the question on behalf of my sister. Her iPhone has been compromised and it appears that another person has been using my sisters Apple ID and using her hotmail address as her own. We have the persons name and address and are speaking with Apple about her iPhone and Apple ID account, but we need to check if this person has also accessed her hotmail account.

We have changed the account password and verified the account several times over the last few days, but are you able to confirm if this person has accessed her hotmail account in the last few weeks? Please can you advise how to action this?

Hi,

I have forgotten my MS account password. So I tried to reset it, but I couldn't. I have created another account to use my Window 8. (This is the account I created. I cannot access the original account..)

However, whenever I try to install or change something, Window 8 asks for the original account password. I guess the original account which I forgot the password, it the main account that allows any changes.

When I try to reset the password on the webpage, it says my original account is incorrect.

I have checked multiple times if the email address is the same as what is shown in my Window 8 account.

However, I can't reset password because it keeps saying that the email account is incorrect.

Could you help me with this issue?
