I am having so much trouble accessing my old email account as I have forgotten the password. I have attempted the account recovery requests several times and have failed every time. I cannot remember my security question, I don't have a recovery code and
I certainly can't remember the recently sent emails/ contacts as the account hasn't been accessed for years. I have filled out forms, emailed and talked on live chat. I have also filled out the form for Microsoft Account Support and I've just been told to
make a new account (that is not the issue!). Can someone please help me? I desperately need to get into this account!
Hi,
I need help! My account was locked and it's been 30 days. I had to go through the account recovery process (answer a whole bunch of questions about my account) to recover it and it said that it would take Microsoft 30 days. Yesterday was 30 days and I
still can't access my account.
Can anyone help me or know what I can do?
Thanks!
Hiya, I have tried to submit an account recovery form 6 times now and it keeps getting denied . I have had my hotmail account for 8 years and it has my whole life in there (CV, university info etc). I have tried calling a microsoft windows contact centre
only to find out this was a scam. I would be grateful for any help as to how to get my account back. Many thanks, Kim.
Hi,
My main hotmail account has been hacked, unfortunately i can't do a password reset as i've forgotten my secret question. This was an account i set up many years ago.
I have then filed an account recovery request which keeps getting declined because the information required i can't fill. Now blocked for 24 hours.
I have phone many times but keep getting nowhere,
This is very important that i get this account back as i have very important information on the account. plus everything is linked to this account.
I would appreciate any help
Thanks
Jake
hi i was playing xbox a few days ago when i got the new call of duty i clocked the game then i wanted to play online so i went to renew my gold membership for my account "dumbaze" but when i tried to sign in it wouldn't let me so i tried to log into my
hotmail but it was also the same so i tried to do an account recovery of "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" but because i made the account about 6 years ago and i cant remember anything such as the security questions and i also can not remember any emails of recent because i hardly
ever used it cause of the name and all of the spam i was getting, i was just wondering if there is any way to get my account back so i can get back onto xbox live
thanks djaran
Approx. Feb. of 2012 I closed my Windows Live account, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Before closing the account, I removed all information from the account such as existing emails, my contacts, folders that I created, my profile picture, and my personal information. I
also changed the required account information such as my account name, my date of birth, my security question, etc. in the event that the account would not be closed right away and I did not want my personal information remaining on the account during this
time. The only thing that I left as is was the password I used to sign into the account. I received a message when closing the account that it would be reserved for approx. 9 months and that if I did not sign in during that time period, then the account
would be closed and deleted.
It has now been 21 months since I closed the account and I checked this week to see if the account has been deleted. To my surprise, I was actually able to log in to the account, albeit with restricted functionality. Seeing how the account was never
actually deleted, I have now decided I want this account back. However, because it has been approx. 21 months since I have signed into this account, I am now prompted to verify my identity to prove I am the owner of the account. It asks me for my security
question and my year of birth, both of which I had changed to some random value prior to closing the account some 21 months before. Of course, 21 months later and I cannot remember the answer, if any, that I changed the security question to nor can I remember
the random value I used for the year of birth.
I was then prompted to start the recovery process by filling out a questionnaire form that might help Microsoft Support identify me as the owner of the account. I had to answer questions about my personal information, folders that I created, email addresses/people
that I have received email from or sent email to recently, the subject of emails that I have received or sent recently, and XBox membership information. As I said before, when closing the account 21 months before, I deleted all my emails, deleted all my contacts,
and deleted all folders that I created. So there are no emails, contacts, or folders for which Microsoft can compare an answer to. There is no actual name on the account to compare an answer to. Furthermore, I have never had an XBox membership. So, I tried
providing some of the information that I remember using before I closed the account some 21 months before. I provided the names of some of the folders that I created and some of the people's email addresses that I received email from and sent email to. I
submitted the account recovery request and I received a reply from Microsoft Support stating, "Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership of this account using the information you provided."
I have the account recovery request number if Microsoft Support should need it to investigate further. Seeing how this account was never actually closed like it should have been, I have now decided I want it back and I would appreciate Microsoft Support
in assisting me in recovering this old account. Consequently, I had to create a new Microsoft account just so i could post this question. Thank you.
HOW CAN I RESET THE PASWORD OF AN LIVE.COM ACCOUNT IF:
1. I DO NOT REMEMBER ALTERNATIVE EMAIL
2. I DO NOT RECEIVE THE SECURITY CODE BY SMS ON MY PHONE NUMBER
3. AFTER COMPLETING ALL THE FIELDS IN THE ACCOUNT RECOVERY FORM, IT CANNOT BE SUBMITED BECAUSE OF MICROSOFT SERVER ERROR OR TOO MANY SUBMITS IN 24 HOURS.
IN THIS LIVE.COM ACCOUNT I HAVE ALL MY PHONE CONTACTS.
MY PHONE CONTACTS ARE SAVED ONLY IN MY LIVE.COM ACCOUNT, NONE IN PHONE MEMORY
I CAN PROOVE THAT, BUT NOBODY LISTEN TO ME.
AT THE CHAT SEGMENT THE OPERATORS SEND ME LINKS FOR PASSWORD RECOVERY, I COMPLETED THE FORMS, BUT NO ANSWERS.
WHEN I FINISH TO COMPLETE ONE BIG FORM, IT SAYS MICROSOFT SERVER ERROR.
IT SEEMS THAT I COMUNICATE WITH ROBOTS.
NOBODY DID NOT WANT FROM ME TO PROOVE THE AWNERSHIP OF THIS LIVE.COM ACCOUNT.
PROBLEM: IF MY PHONE WILL BROKE, IF I DO NOT KNOW THE PASSWORD OF MY LIVE.COM ACCOUNT, I WILL LOOSE ABOUT 900 PHONE CONTACTS.
WHO FROM LIVE.COM CAN HELP ME?
Hello I hope someone can help me. My original hotmail account has been locked out. I have submitted the account recovery request form a number of times and always get a message back stating "Unfortunately, our automated

I had already filled out the account verification form and successfully verify that I am the account owner.

Hello,
I am trying to recover my mother-in-law's email account. It asked her to put in the verify code and she doesn't have the number on the account. We called some support number but they said they only have the FAQ for account stuff. I can't get on to change
the account info to her new number to get the code. I also have submitted the account recovery stuff 3 times now with no response. She has things she need to get to on her email. It's been almost 5 days now. It's getting annoying.
