I got hit by a virus. My Hotmail account sent out spam emails to others. The virus also apparently changed my password. I now cannot get into my Hotmail. I have already tried Microsoft customer support but they blew me off. I have also tried account recovery with no luck.
And now to my Live email account. My password still works but I cannot get past a summary page: https://account.live.com/summarypage
It won't allow me to access my emails.
How do I get help with this??
I tried the password reset option and account recovery process but
1. It is not accepting my security answer as the hacker has changed it
2. I no longer have access to the alternate email address but can confirm what that is.
3. The customer service which is the third option did not help me.
I had to make this second ID just to sign up in this forum.
Please help!! Thank you.

My hotmail account was recently hacked. The first time I tried to do an account recovery it came back that I needed more detailed information. I had friends send me e-mails that I had sent them so I think the second time I tried to do an account recovery I had very detailed information about who and what I was e-mailing. I have not heard anything back yet about the second recovery and this has been over 3 weeks ago. I did not have any of my contacts backed up so right now I can't even try to e-mail my contacts to let them know what is going on. I know that I have missed some very important e-mails and would like help in trying to get back into my hotmail account.

Unfortunately my alternative email addresses were from ex-jobs and no longer valid.
So I completed the account validation form (several times now!) with AS MUCH info as possible (subjects of previous emails, email addresses sent to, folders created etc). The account recovery request still comes back each time saying that the information submitted is insufficient. I'm in total limbo. I submitted a request for support from Microsoft support team over 48 hours ago and still have not received a response.
PLEASE PLEASE someone help. I have flight info and important documents that I urgently need to access. I can provide the email address of the affected account if needed.
