I haven't been able to use my old hotmail account because it got disabled. I can't remember the email that I used to sign up with my hotmail account, and I can't remember the answer to my security question. I've also tried filling out the account verification
form several times to the best of my ability, but all of my requests have been rejected. Now I want to know if there's any other way for me to reactivate this hotmail account or have this one completely deleted so I can make a new hotmail with the same name.
Thanks for your time.
This is the fifth request I have made to Microsoft regarding a Hotmail account that has been blocked, for no reason. Apparently out of the blue you have chosen to require me to verify an account I have been using for a couple of years (email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***).
The problem is that you send me codes that don't work - I've had three of them so far. When I tried to address this issue with Support I was sent links to address the problem to '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' (the address that is the recovery email address for rob-filter@hotmail).
HOWEVER, when I tried to access the Support information I kept on getting the message 'r_j_fearon@hotmail is not able to view this incident', or something to that effect. So what have we got here? 1. An unnecessary account verification process, 2. Codes that
don't work, 3. Support links that don't work. I keep reading 'We at Microsoft, take account security seriously', but it seems you do not take user experience or customer support seriously. I am a tech journalist and I have to say that ever since you have
switched Hotmail over to Outlook I have had nothing but problems with my Hotmail accounts. I would appreciate a swift response to this request to unblock my email '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' as this is becoming a VERY onerous and time consuming task, when I did not need
account verification in the first place.
Hi,
Email Account : *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (used for social media services)
Alternative ID: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (I use frequently)
My email account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** got compromised end of last month (July 2013). The hacker changed the alternative id of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I had submitted the account verification form and sent it to microsoft (2nd Aug) with my account id *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and moments
later the hacker broke into this account as well because the alternative id of *** Email address is removed for privacy *** was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. So i couldn't get the account reset verification email i was supposed to receive and made this new account so i could report the issue again. I have
tried filling the form about 3-4 times without much help available.
The hacker is sending scam emails to all my friends and relatives saying i have got stranded somewhere and require money. I don't have the contact details of few of my contacts and they are becoming a victim of this fraud. Its been more than a week i am
asking for support and i don't get any support from the Microsoft Windows Live Support Staff. This is by far one of the worst services I have used since 1997. Please stop this person from abusing my account.
I had to already to pay someone because that person fell victim to this scam. I have some important emails and i have had no issues using hotmail for past few couple of years.
I agree its my mistake that i lost my account due to negligence. but it would be really kind enough of the support staff to get me back my account so that i could alert everyone about this scam.
Best Regards,
Rozeyna Adam
In late June I changed my microsoft password a couple times because I could not remember the password. I received the message about the password change utility being "temporarily" down. I forgot about it since my Xbox was continuing to connect to Xbox
Live. When my console got disconnected from XBL, I could not remember the last password and tried to recover it with my PC. I once again got the "temporarily" down message. I attempted to do the account verification, but when it told me I had successfully
verified my account, the link once again gave me a temporary error. I have attempted the account verification tool a few more times. If it works immediately, the link doesn't work. If it works more slowly (and I assume a person looked at the data), I get
a message congratulating me on my account being fixed and a promise to send a reactivation link to my account email and the email never arrives.
I then chatted with someone on Xbox Live's online chat support. I did not know at the time that this was a separate account issue not having to do with Xbox Live. The first two Xbox chat support people claimed that the issue had been escalated, but the gentleman I talked to on the phone said that this was not the case and that they could not escalate an account issue. I suppose, the first two support people just wanted to get rid of me.
I was directed to the account support, which helped me figure out that I had to file a ticket in the secure chat forum. I filed the first ticket, I received the same advice that I did from the chat agent, and no one replied to me in the ticket. A similar thing happened when I contacted the second chat agent and I reported the same ticket. Once again no one replied to me on the ticket when the advice didn't work. I therefore made a third ticket. No one replied at all for over 36 hours. I made my fourth ticket this morning and haven't heard from anyone yet.
I have really enjoyed my Xbox, Xbox 360, and live subscription that started back in 2005 or so. It really is a wonderful, functional service. Linking this account to a free, non-supported live account is apparently terrible. This is the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life and it is unacceptable that I have been locked out of my Xbox Live account that I not only have 1.5 years left on, but also have many digital games, online multiplayer, and netflix streaming (that my family was using quite regularly) tied to. If this is issue is not fixed (and it should not take more than a week to fix an issue like this), I will consider that I have been stolen from and I will never purchase another Xbox console or use another Microsoft service again or recommend them to anyone that asks me about them.
Regardless, if someone would help me with this issue, I would be happy to continue being a customer of Microsoft/Xbox user. Please contact me if you have any sort of idea.
Thank you,
Michael

I have been locked out my account which I have had since the last century and am desperate to get back in. I have filled out several Account Verification Forms but have sadly have received several "Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership
of this account using the information you provided." Emails.
The last account recovery denied request was number 9055785. I am desperate to get back in and at my wits end as what to do next.
Please please help I really NEED to get back in.

Over the weekend, Outlook would not allow me to log into my hotmail account without setting up account verification through a phone number and alternative email address.
Now it is not possible to load this email account onto my phone.
My husband's hotmail account is not yet required for account verification, so he can load his account onto my phone with no problem.
I like the extra security for my hotmail account, but Outlook has done a wonderful job of crippling my accessibility to my own life.
Logging in to my computer presents NO issue.
Considering leaving hotmail/outlook immediately. Very poorly planned.
Does anyone have a solution for this idiocy?
Thank you.
Erin
The blocked my hotmail account and they asked me to submit the account verification form I tried my best to remember the things in there but it wasn't enough. I've been using that email for ages and now they told me to create a new account. I really don't
want to give up on my old email I really need it back please help me get it back! :'(
Hello
When I was younger, I made an account and used it for every account/profile on the internet. Now I want to change a few things, but i can't because my account is blocked because of privacy reasons. I tried using the Account Verification, but i don't know
much of the account anymore. It is like 4 years ago, that I used it for emails and contacting people. So i can't fill the questions in genteel.
So please any help, I need the account for games and social network sites.
Is there like an other account verification or something else to get my account back running ?
Thanks
Maarten Sap
