Forwarding mail TO Hotmail from my IP email acct. Hotmail marks as suspicious. Using sending/recieving incoming has lag time

When I forward my emails TO Hotmail FROM my IP email program most of my mail is marked as suspicious.  To recify this I have to add the email acct. to send/recieve in Hotmail.  The problem is it takes bet. 10 and 20 minutes for mail to get to Hotmail.  I use my IP email address to sign in to Windows Live and Hotmail.  Any solutions to this problem? Thanks.

I received email telling me I will lose my Windows Live  Hotmail Plus acct If I DONOT respond to it to upgrade my email acct requ;est;ing my Name. Usr. Pswd. DOB Cntry    because of  DGTFX  Virus....you already have this info...is this a scam
