Outlook search function doesn't work for root user on OSX 10.8.2. Spotlight index is ok cause I can search and find emails via spotlight search. In addition the search functions work perfect with another admin user. Any idea?
A User gets above error message when he tries to sync his calendar. We went onto webmail and deleted the referenced calendar event, then emptied the cache in Outlook for his Calendar but the error persists.
In addition to the error message under details it says "The meeting request has already been sent and might not be updated"
Does anyone know how to cure this error? Everything else in the account is working.
Thanks in anticipation
Philip

I just recently updated to Office 2011 from Office 2008. While the import of Entourage data was relatively clean, I end up with nearly ALL of my calendar events tied to my old Entourage calendar. If I uncheck the Entourage calendar most appointments
disappear. In addition, all new appointments entered into Outlook 2011 end up as an Entourage event.
In very short order I want to totally remove Entourage (and the rest of Office 2008) from my Mac but am now unsure what will happen to all my calendar events.
So, my questions:
1. How do i get the Entourage entries to appear as Outlook entries?
2. How do I get new appointment entries to NOT appear as Entourage events?
3. What happens to the Entourage events if/when I get rid of Office 2008 (including the identities - which, of course, I will back up)?
Thank you
Im setting up out email with Live Mail. Found how to create signatures by laying it out in a new email message as well as inserting images (our logo), then saving as an HTML file. Then when adding the signature, you tell it to use that HTML file. Ok,
did all this but now when I start a new message, the entire signature is there but the logo get the red X. I repeating these steps several times with no luck. I also made sure to put the images in the same folder on the computer with the HTML file thinking
that might affect things but no change. Even made sure to use no spaces in the file names. In addition, Ive seen posts online saying to uncheck the blocked images section under security which I have done and still no change. Whats keeping the images from
showing when I apply the signatures?

When viewing email, in addition to
View: Previous ^[
View: Next ^]
it would be very convenient to have
View: Previous Unread (some nice shortcut like shift-^[)
View: Next Unread (some nice shorcut line shift-^])
Is there some way to do this in Outlook 2011 within the context of all mail?
tks,
