Cannot delete stored Email Addressee

I type in the wrong Email Address in the address book, I type the correct Email Address but the stored Email Address over rides the correct Email Address.

Cannot delete the stored Email Addresses, this is very thrustrating because I cannot send a EMAIL TO THE INDIVIDUAL THAT I NEED TO GET IN CONTACT WITH !! Please Help Thank you D.B.

Converting Outlook Express to Outlook

I've been using Outllok Express on WinXp and now i'm switching to Outlook on Win8 on a new computer; i understand Win8 does not support O.Express. How can I move my address book & email files to Outlook. Will Outlook recognize O.E. files (wab.exe for address book & .dbx files for emails), or do i have to convert them to an Outlook format?

Windows Live Mail address book locks up (spinning wheel) when engaged. I can sent/receive mail, but the program locks up accessing the address book.

Random Contacts are periodically deleted from Outlook since the upgrade from Hotmail

Hello,

Periodically I noticed that random contacts within my Outlook (used to be Hotmail) address book get wiped out. Sometimes the Contact completely disappears, and other times the Contact is still in address book but all of the contact information is gone (email address, or if multiple email addresses, the primary email address I use is gone). Yesterday, I notice 4 family members impacted and there could be more... This time, all 4 still had their name in the Contacts, but (2 were missing their one and only email address and the other 2 were missing their two more primary email addresses leaving one email address I never use). Confusing? Yes. Today, one that was verified to be there yesterday is gone.

The primary/home machine is a Mac using Safari and Chrome. Safari remains logged in. Work machine is PC running Chrome and I log out almost always. I have 4 "hotmail" email addresses synced to Samsung S4 but I am not losing anything on it. I am only syncing contacts on the primary personal Hotmail address. I am also connected to the Outlook Exchange Server at work, but no issues there.

I have have checked the option to Restore Contacts and it says I have Zero to Restore. I have never used the option to Clean Up contacts either. Just simply send emails:(

Any ideas? I was hoping that this would resolve itself, but it does not seem like it will. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this issue since the addresses impacted are random.

since you switched my hotmail account to an Outlook account (i think in august)
i have not been able to do the following:

access any of my 10+ years of accumulated contacts in address book. my contact list is now empty
even when i click to "add email to contact list" the system does not do it
I can not attach documents to any of my emails sent via any one of my three hotmail accounts. i get a drop down message that says "We're still setting this up"

This is causing huge issues for me! dont know why you fiddled with hotmail. it was fine the way it was.

My Address Book in Outlook.com Is MIA. Tried Manage, Restore.. Nothing there.. I had to spend a few hours going through my Sent Messages to manually write in SOME of my Contacts. What Gives? Is there a possible backup on a Server somewhere, as the outlook.com page does not provide us a way to backup our contacts unless we use Outlook in Office. I Personally do not use Outlook . I have been a MSN/Hotmail subscriber forever and seems like the file went missing possibly early September. Please Advise

iCloud hijacked my Outlook address book.

When I signed onto iCloud with my pc, it hijacked my addressbook entries. Now, when I try to send an email, using an address book item, I have to open the addressbook and click on iCloud. This is a pain. How can I make it just default to iCloud, or get those addresses back where they were before. I am using Outlook 2010, I think.

Can not send emil to groups using Windows Live Mail 2012

Over the past week I have encountered a problem in sending e-mail to groups in my address book. I am able to do so and then for some unknown reason I no longer am able to do so. The condition comes and goes. When attempting to Send, I get a pop-up window stating:

"This message could not be sent

. Type an e-mail address for one or more recipients in the

To; Cc, or the Bcc box.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks for your help.

Someone is using my mom’s information to ask for money from my family members!

I'm not sure how they got my mom's address book.

This isn't even her email address. Someone created it using my moms name and is email all of my moms contacts asking for money! They have intimate knowledge of my mom as well mentioning her cancer and asking her sisters and nieces for money!!!

Since it was never her account to begin with I have no way of knowing the recovery information. This could not happen at a worse time considering my mom's situation and the fact that she really doesnt have money, I'm afraid family may send money to this stranger!!!

Thanks in advance for your help. I can give anyone the email address and the email if you feel it will help resolve the issue. I need this person to stop.

My Hot Mail account has been hacked. I can no longer access my mail or my address book. I was given a number to call and they told me they would charge $ 189 to fix. But then I called MICROSOFT. They sent me an e mail about the forum but I do not know how to access it to fix my problem. Can someone out there help me. I would like to be able to continue to use my hotmail account with the same address if that is possible. If not at least be able to access my inbox and continue to use Hot Mail perhaps with a new address and password. Where do I go from here?
