Trying to close an old Microsoft account - was a windows live account - says I have subscriptions - only one I know of is for windows live one care which lapsed when the service ended.
Have set up a new account for my windows phone and desktop and want to get rid of old one as appears to be causing issues when I sync with outlook on my desktop.
Support pages are taking me around in circles.
Please advise how I get rid of this old account - on this email address - so only have my account created about a week ago.

I now have to enter my complete e-mail address and my password when logging in. I used to only have to enter my password from my home computer. How can I set it so my login name comes up each time. I've tried to set it as keep me logged in but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks.
I have my address set to show at the foot of any email I send. I want to change the way this looks, but now cannot find my way into whatever mode I need to change it. Where do I go to get into this area please?
When I sign in using my email address and password, I tick the box that says 'keep me signed in' . When I sign out, and then go to use Hotmail again, my email address is not in the box. Why?

Hotmail won't keep me signed in even when I tick the box, every time I want to look at my account I have to type the address in, not difficult but annoying. It only started to do this yesterday.
