I have not been able to find this problem mentioned anywhere, It cannot just be me. Help is appreciated.
Okay, so first of all, I use Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. I always log into my main administrator account with my microsoft.com email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) and have been doing so for several months. However, I am running into problems with all sorts of things
including a very intermittent and unreliable HomeGroup functionality, the (sometimes) duplication of my user account (in other words, my admin account VAIO64 will show up twice: VAIO64 VAIO64(1) - as though I created two accounts! WHICH CHAPS MY ****!) and
the enivatble AND EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING notifications and inability to open some programs, share folders, and other redundant BS (e.g., having to run EVERY program and process as an administrator, even though, I am listed as the administrator, this is my computer,
and no one else has ever even touched it, yet alone, given themselves administrator access over me! That and the fact that no other users are shown under User Accounts, except for that of my own ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT!) Therefore, here the other day, I said
screw it and decided to set up a new account as a Standard User (being, Microsoft "recommends" it). So I thought hey, what the ****. Anyhow, Well, of course in order to keep things in sync (being that I have 3 other computers, and utilize a lot of Microsoft
apps, including everything from Skydrive and Office, to Visio and DreamSpark) I knew that I needed to use another Microsoft account. And from what I read, the "best way" to keep things in sync is to create an alias, which I did (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). And yet, while
I can receive mail at that address, open up every microsoft webpage, account and application with it as well; yet, when it comes to simply signing in using that extra/spare account in Windows, I get an error telling me my password doesn't match. But fortunately,
I also get a "kind" message letting me know, that all I have to do is simply go to www.account.live.com/password/reset and then come back and log in. Well guess what? THAT DOESN'T WORK! So, I am able to reset it and peruse all the sites like always, but somehow,
it doesn't do a single thing about the password problem I have now spent 2 days straight trying to fix!? C'mon Microsoft!! What a joke! PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE.
I have a administrator account that is set up when I migrated my domain over to be used with Outlook.com. I have 3 emails accounts set up and wanted to add a 4th but I forgot the administrator ID and password?
How I get this reset?
I am the administrator of a domains.live.com account- and a person left the company who's email I manage. I suspended the account, but we need access to the email inside of it- can I be sent a reset password, or change the password as the administrator?
Domain: bluegrouse.ca
I am trying to add the insightly app to my outlook.com address. But am getting the message that it is a "Restricted Install. E-mail your administrator to install." (see link below)

Given that I set up the custom domain email address, I figure I am the administrator and therefore should be able to give myself permission to download this add-on. However, I cannot work out how to do this. Would love some help please!
I was changing some computer settings. There was a page that could let one switch to a "local" account and I switched to this "local" account that has the same privilege's as a guest account. I cannot make any system or computer changes. Worst yet, I am clueless on how to switch back to my administrator account. How do I recover my main account? Attempting to do anything with permissions and accounts always gives me the message "Your administrator has blocked this program. Please contact your administrator" Grrrr.. SUGGESTIONS? Thanks.
Hi Hotmail Team! I cannot foward emails that I received to other contacts. They all came back with a messege from the Mail Administrator saying "mail system error-returned mail" What is going on? Is this because I deleted over 12,000 messages that were
cluttering my inbox last night and then had to delete them from my delete box today? In between, I had Norton Easy Support help me with my computer because it went down last night and wouldn't start. But that had nothing to do with any emails.
Outlook Address
I am the Exchange Administrator for this small business and for the life of me I can't get this corrected on the SBS 2011. An exec mgnt would like to have his contacted correct where in the address there is a double comma (ie. ,, ) next to the address. I logged into SBS and check out both the ESM and the AD and EVERYTHING seems to be spotlessly correct. I have even try to erase and retype the address again in case there is some invisible thing going on. In outlook for Mac 2011, when I search under GAL LDAP, the address seems to be correct. When I search user Helen LDAP (which is me), it has the WRONG the address with the double comma. If I click "Update Local Contact" it will update the wrong info on my own contact list. Can you please suggest where else I can look at?
Thanks!
