Receiving both comcast.net and gmail.com email accounts through Windows Live Mail and suddenly there is a yellow alert in the taskbar of my WLM
window and an error window telling me
An unknown error has occurred.
Subject 'before I pack my calendar'
Server: 'smtp.gmail.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0B
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 465
Secure(SSL): Yes
This is not allowing me to send mail!
I'm using a Dell Inspiron 5720...( 64 bit)
Internet Explorer 9
Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1
Please tell me how to fix this without spending anything more than I already have, and keeping tech jargon understandable, please?
Thanks in advance

For months now, I hardly get mails delivered into my hotmail account . Senders into the hotmail alert me on phone that they have sent mails into the account but on accessing it , i dont see any mail. This is most painful as it is normally notified to the sender that he/her mail has been sent only for my account not to see and subsequently deliver it.
I shall be happy if you can resolve this issue as am known by many with that account.
Worried chap.
I used to have a alert sound telling me i have received a new email , but now it does`nt , any ideas please .
I am getting a Shut Down alert regarding my Hotmail account from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. It says that microsoft will shut down my Hotmail account because it has
a virus. So I have to give them my Hotmail info and password to prevent a Shut down. Is this a legitimate alert?
