How can I get audio and animated notifications when I receive an email using my Hotmail account?

I tried to follow the steps given in the forum i.e. opened 'Windows Live, Alt T, but couldnt find the 'Options', only Internet Options. Please help

livemail locked up. still downloading a message after 3 days. control/alt/delete doesn’t kill the download . How do I kill it and get back on my email account?

the tab bar at the top of messenger keeps disappearing

the tab bar at the top of messenger keeps disappearing.if i press the alt key ,it reappears,but disappears again when i left click on the page.How do i resolve this?

Blocked account and forgotten alt address?

My account has been blocked and I cant recall my alternative email address or password as they are very old and unused. How can i get my account unblocked as the account has all my contacts etc in?

windows live mail task bar menu with "tools" is missing

The menu bar with "Tools" is missing from Windows 7 (64bit) from Windows LIve. I've tried Alt - M and all I get is an irritating noise telling me whatever I did was wrong. I've tried Alt - V and it did not make the bar appear. I've tried left clicking on the right side of the question mark and it didn't work. Does anyone have an answer or solution to this problem?
