why is it that i ALWAYS have to log in?i have checked the box to keep me logged in but it doesn’t matter

Cannot rebuilt identity after trying to upgrade Office Database (14.2.1)

Error after installing Service Pack 2 (14.2.1).

Initial window message "Please upgrade the Office Database".

Then click on "upgrade" and gives me a message "Need to rebuild your identity" and goes to 1-5 steps finalizing with "your identity cannot be rebuilt".

 

 Then ALWAYS FAILS and the outlook seems corrupt as the initial message "Please upgrade the Office Database" keeps coming back. I have done this many times and tried freeing up space in the hard drive, creating a new identity but appears blank.

 

Please help. Thank you.

Why do I ALWAYS get an error message when I try to sign in to my account, but am successful the second time? I am certain I type the password exactly the same each time.

Both my wife and I are NEVER successful in signing in to our hotmail accounts on the first try.  We always get an error message.  Then, after re-typing our passwords, we are always successful.  I have changed my password, but it doesn't seem to help.  Neither of us are very technoliterate, so please keep this in mind.  We would be grateful for any assistance we could get in solving this.  Thanks.
