Hi,

I am using an Android phone and I have two outlook.com email ID . One is "live.in" and the other is "live.com". When I try to sync the contacts from "live.com", none of the contacts get sync with my android phone. But when I try with "live.in" all the contacts sync both ways. I tried reconfiguring the "live.com" email as Exchange/corporate and also tried resetting the phone to defaults but still the problem is same. So, there is something wrong with my "Live.com" ID. I would really appreciate if you could help me in fixing the problem or guide me in the right direction.

I have outlook on my android phone.  I have "synced" all my folders and everything works fine, just like using outlook on my laptop. However, when I try to empty or delete emails from my junk mail folder, there is no icon or tab or the little trash can symbol to be able to delete them nor is there a way to "select all" so I can then empty or delete multiple emails at once. PLEASE HELP!  This is driving me crazy because I get about 100 junk mail emails each day and I have to delete them one at a time!!

Hi, I have a new Samsung Mega (GT19152) running android 4.2.2. I installed the outlook app from the play store and added my credentials.  The app then will show me the contacts and email synced up, but it will not show me calendars. I have a couple of calendars that are needed on the move. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I should add, I have tried multiple MS accounts to no avail, same results.

Should I be getting an option as part of the setup to state which of my calendars I want to sync? If I go to the settings tab in the Outlook app, it takes me to the account settings. I then click on 'contacts and calendar' this opens up a settings window that shows sync contacts with a check box to enable and the time stamp of when last synced.

thanks

Ok...so all my files are on my skydrive both on my pc and my android phone. Now for instance, these files are my resume. I have yahoo email and gmail but mainly use yahoo. When i go to attach a file i choose the paper clip for attachment then /mnt/sdcard/ then i can choose a location so i choose skydrive/downloads. Problem is there are only 2 files in that file which none of are on my skydrive! How do I get files in and out of this skydrive download folder so i can attach them?

Yesterday I purchased an android phone (Alcatel onetouch 983) and I want to put my Outlook email on it to access. The wizard doesn't help me. When I go into it, it asks me "What type of account is this? OP3/IMAP/Exchange. I do not know what these are and how to answer and I cannot proceed. I am a pensioner and I am very confused. I am trying very hard to get to grips with the technology. Can you help me please?
I downloaded the Outlook.com app on her new Android phone today and attempted to sign in with her credentials I received an error saying "We were unable to sign you in. Sorry you must be an Adult to do this" She prefers to use outlook.com over Gmail & this is going to be a major issue. Any suggestions?
