Cannot send email from AOL or Gmail Accoutns

I did resolve this problem but have a new one now. I cannot send from either my aol email or gmail accounts. I have repaired windows essentials several times and changed outgoing ports for both aol and gmail to 465. Nothing seems to work?

I just set up my Outlook.com account to manage my AOL email account. However, my messages are visible, but all my email folders did not get imported. It seems my messages are contained in the In Box. How do I set up my Outlook.com so I can have access to all my AOL folders?

I just created a Microsoft account, and have some questions regarding the email.

Is the email @outlook.com a free email service?

Is it accessible like aol email? I currently use aol, but only for email and would like to get rid of it. Can I use an outlook email address the same way?

If so, how do I create an email account with Microsoft?

AOL email not being fetched by Outlook.com

I've added an aol email address to my outlook.com account and i'm not getting all of the emails.

The settings are correct.

I've added and deleted the email address a few times. Each time I add it I might get 1 or 2 emails from AOL, but nothing else.

I need to be able to get them in Outlook in a timely manner, not 3 hours later if that.

When I first added the email address it fetched all of the emails from AOL, then nothing.

I've done test e-mails, nothing comes thru Outlook.

My AOL email a/c was cancelled because of suspicious activity. Can I recover the old messages? I have opened a new hotmail a/c.
