When an email thread builds up to multiple replies Outlook displays the old mail in the thread in a single character column. Its pretty hard to describe without posting a picture but to illustrate a text like "this" would be displayed as:
t
h
i
s
And the text "On November 6th 2012 Joe Bloggs wrote" displays as
O
n
N
o
v
e
m
b
e
r
6
[well you get the idea].
The same email viewed from Mail.app displays just fine. As does webmail.
What am I doing wrong?
in my Wheter app the Whether is in imperial, but I like it in metric temperatures
After upgrading my iMac to Mountain Lion OS (v 10.8.2) and reinstalling the latest version of MS Outlook for Mac 2011 (v 14.2.4), there are now 2 and sometimes 3 Inbox windows that open up, one behind the other, when I launch Outlook.
The app gets my external email just fine and the multiple windows show the same list of folders and email messages, but it's a bit annoying and I have to go ahead and close the extra windows manually.
Am wondering what might cause this and what I can do to prevent the multiple windows from opening up each time.
Thanks in advance for your help with this issue.

Hi
I have a contact reporting as blocked in Windows 8 Messenger and on Outlook.com and I cannot send messages to them from these but I can from the normal Messenger app and IMO. I cannot find anywhere that shows me how to remove the block from the first two apps
can anyone help.
Thanks, Julien.
i check my email on multiple devices (2 macs using the 'mail' app, my ipad, iphone, and regular internet at work) when i read an email at work on the internet it does not mark it as read on my other devices and visa versa. even the 2 macs with the same
mail program dont sync up. how can i rectify this?
Starting just this week my Office Reminders app is not working properly. Randomly throughout the day it pops up and bounces in my dock for about half a minute. Then a reminder (though I do not have one set for any of these times) quickly flashes, then
the whole app shuts down again. Same thing happens if I try to open the app manually. I've deleted the com.microsoft.outlook.office_reminders.plist, but that did not fix it.
Any clues?
Hello everybody,
so it's the first time i come across a problem like this.
i got myself a new phone with Android 2.3.6 installed on it,i installed the HOTMAIL app and it apparently synced with my Hotmail account and my windows live messenger 2011.
all was fine till i for some reason started deleting the only_e-mail based _contacts on my SIM contacts list( i thought why are those e-mails showing on my SIM contacts list where it should only be containing number-based contacts).
i sign in to windows live messenger on Windows 7 after a while and all of a sudden no contacts showing on my messenger list!
i tried several approaches but to no avail:
first of all,i tried re-adding contacts on messenger one by one. it added them back but, unfortunately the next time i signed in i had a void contact list ! .(did this multiple times )
i then went for deletion of the contacts cache as suggested in some threads but it didn't work for me.
i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the windows live essential 2012 and still no use.
can you please help me figure this out.
Technical info: windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, windows live messenger 2012.
I use Outlook.com as my email and generally enjoy it. When I click on calendar, it goes to Hotmail calendar. No biggie. I guess they are related. However, when I create a calender event and try to invite people from my "People" list, it tells me there
are no people on the list. If I click on the people tab from my Outlook inbox, it is fully populated. I have no idea why the calendar app does not see the names in my people list. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks,
Darren
Have re-installed Microsoft Office several times and cannot get Outlook to work. Crashes occurred when rebuilding database on previous attempts and now the program will not allow me to rebuild or open Outlook before crashing. I get the message below.

Every time WLM runs, it opens in full screen mode. It's so annoying to have to resize it each time.
