Is it possible to move the emails along with the folders in which the emails are, from outlook 2011 to apple mail.
I was also hoping if I could get any solution for the transfer of calender entries and address book to ical and vcard respectively.
Thank you
I'm doing the one month free trial of Office 365 on my Mac. I thought I'd try Outlook as an alternative to Apple Mail.

My email accounts are via Gmail using IMAP.

But the very first thing I noticed was that out of all the mail clients I've tested, only Outlook seems unable to sync the red flags I've marked many messages with. They do sync in Gmail, in Apple Mail, on my iPhone, on my iPad, with the new Airmail OS X app and even Thunderbird. Only in Outlook do they not sync.

Is there a way to make them sync?

Thanks,

doug
my friend's e-mail doesn't exist. She used the e-mail as an Apple ID and she share her ID to her friends to use with their iPhones. One of her friends change ID on iPhone to another ID. Somehow it doesn't work and the previous e-mail disappear from the system. I'm not closed to this friend but I've been asked for help from them. Any idea what happen? If I create the same e-mail and apply to Apple ID, all things will be back or not?
I bought and installed Office for Mac 2011 a couple of years ago. I decided today to check out Outlook since it offers email scheduling and Apple's Mail program doesn't. When I opened the program it asked for my product key. It was a digital download from digital river, but I can't find the email, and it looks like I didn't save the key on my macbook. I use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint all the time... is there a way to find it via those programs? Why aren't all programs registered at once? Serious pain in the ****.

Hi everyone,

I don't like the serie Mail/iCal/Carnet d'adresses from Apple, reason why I bought Outlook 2011 for Mac.

I succeed transferring all my contacts to Outlook.

I try now to transfer all my mails with their categories to Outlook too but I don't succeed.  I read some discussions on this forum but they are obsolete as they were with snowLeopard and Outlook 2011.  Would someone have good news for me and find a way to transfer all the mails with their categories from Apple Mail to Outlook 2011 for Mac ?

It would be nice and to receive a positive answer.

Thank you for your help

I have just installed  ms office on my new i mac and am using outlook express for my mail. I can open all the attachments that I receive but am unable to print any as it shows that it is locked. I called apple but they told me that that this was a microsoft issue. Can you help?

[Moved from Entourage forum to Outlook forum]

I'm running Outlook 2011 on my Apple 10.6 machines - 2 desktops and 2 laptops.  They are synchronizing to an Exchange 2010 server at work. Everything works ok except I'm noticing that one task is missing on one of the laptops - it sees the others and they're being updated (synchronized) but this one is missing! What can be done?
When I add a contact in Outlook, it does get replicated to Apple's "Contacts" but not to the iPhone.  In Contacts, it shows up when I click "All on my Mac" but not in iCloud.

In summary...

 - when I add a contact on the iPhone, it shows up in Contacts but not in Outlook.
 - when I add a contact in Outlook, it shows up in Contacts but not the iPhone.
 - when I add a contact in Contacts, it shows up in Outlook but not the iPhone

Is there a way to keep them all the same (and in sync)?

I have all boxes checked in synched services.  My iTunes says contacts should sync over the air via iCloud.
