This is happening on both my MacBook Pro and my iMac.  I have been to the Apple store 3 times in the last three weeks to try to resolve.  I have called Comcast, the internet service provider.  They claim it is not them. My family uses PCs and are not having any problems.  Any suggestions?

Why am I constantly getting this error?

What does this error mean?

How do I fix this?

This MacBook Air belongs to a VIP in our company. She is under the impression that she has received a lemon, due to the following experiences (verbatim):

Random beeping noise coming from machine. Unexplainable. No obvious pattern.

Machine randomly sounds like an airplane taking off. Fan running constantly.

Unable to view Sent folder in Outlook. Periodically.

Unable to view Sent items. Periodically.

Calendar items/invites/meetings do not display accordingly.

Unable to accept/decline meeting invitations.

Pinwheel constantly displays. Forced to reboot due to freezing.

Constantly receiving 'Data is corrupt' error message in Outlook.

Constantly receiving 'An internal server error occurred. The operation failed' in Outlook.

I understand the majority of these issues points towards the Office/Outlook application, but why don't any of the troubleshooting methods resolve or alleviate any of the aforementioned symptoms at all?

No one else in my company with this software is receiving this message.

I have rebuilt the database 3 times.

I have reinstalled the software twice.

All software is up-to-date.

Why doesn't Apple support this software?

Why doesn't Microsoft support this software?

Every forum I search regarding Office for Mac results in a never ending loop of both companies panning the issue off to the other and nobody takes responsibility.

Is there anyone out there willing to take the time to assist me and fully exhaust their knowledge to present some sort of solution towards this issue?

I am fully committed to this discussion and will provide any and all information needed in order to fix the issue.

Why are there other users with the same software who are NOT experiencing the same issues?

As a last resort, I am aware backing-up the profile/account and restoring the OS is an option. What if this plan of action doesn't solve anything? What if the problem persists?

My technical knowledge of Apple/Mac devices is limited, and I would appreciate any advice/suggestions/support on the matter, as this is a high priority issue and I would like to learn from this so as to avoid any similar issues that I may encounter in the future.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have been on the phone with Apple and they cannot figure out why I cannot receive a verification notice for Facetime on my hotmail account.  They
suggested I write you to see if there is something blocking the notification.

As many have said, Outlook 2011 for Mac runs like a dog after updating to OSX Mountain Lion. After powering up the macbook and launching Outlook, it sets up my identity for fifteen minutes. Then everything runs slow for another half hour or so. It's made Outlook nearly unusable. No solution I have read/tried works. Apple points at Microsoft. Microsoft points at Apple. That's of no use to the user, guys. We're stuck in the middle with no source of help. Microsoft - you guys really need to address this - even if it means talking to Apple. Together you need to find a solution and put it out there for us immediately.
I have a friend that recently upgraded from Entourage to Outlook for Mac and is unhappy with one aspect of the new program.

In Entourage, when opening an email message it would display the sender's email address.  For Example:

From:  Apple <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

Now, in Outlook, it simply displays:

Apple

Is there a way to display the sender's email address as in Entourage?  She is unhappy with Outlook and now wants to change back but I can't seem to find a way to migrate backwards without losing all of her emails and her contacts!

Thanks
We are a small nonprofit educational org and are using Office for Mac 2011.  I wanted to archive my emails from the year 2010, so I created a folder called "Older" and dragged 5,000 emails to it.  They literally disappeared.   I have checked my computer for all  ".pst" files; and I went to the  Apple "genuis bar" where a trained tech looked for these email files -- they could not be found.  Please offer guidance for finding these!

When I'm creating tasks with outlook 2011 for Mac, I cannot see them in outlook tasks. I only can find them again in the Apple reminder Apllication.
Is there anything due to iCloud? can somebody help me?
thanks

Outlook 2011 does not automatically import Data from Apple iCal and Apple addressbook despite the fact they are on the same Mac.

My iMac had a Hard Drive failure but was able to be backed up before the HD was replaced by Apple. The new HD had a complete restore done with every thing back on the new HD. When I went to open Office 2010/11  ( Outlook ) it asked me for the key to activate Office. I put in the key that came with the software disk but it says that it is the wrong key. What is going on??
