Why do I keep getting " you have no appointments" in my inbox ? Problem is, it forces my legitimate appointments to the deleted box. I have no other email services that are forwarded to my account. Thank you for even pondering an answer
We recently switched from hotmail to Exchange in the cloud, and now cannot access mail/calendar items through the web UI.  I've been able to POP3 the messages that were in my inbox, but I have three problems:

1. Everything I popped came into the inbox and are all Unread; I've lost my activity history.
2. Messages that I had moved to folders in Outlook seem to be lost.
3. Calendar items did not come into Outlook, and I cannot log into the web UI, so all of my appointments are lost.

Several issues syncing / editing / creating calendar items on phone:

1. Changes made to the reminder time are not saved.
2. Edits made to existing appointments are unable to be synced - get 'Sync protocol error'
3. New appointments created also will not sync.

phone - HTC Sensation running Android 4.0.3 and Exchange ActiveSync.

Mail and Contacts sync just fine.

The calendar is basically 'read only' as any edits made on the phone results in sync errors.

Before updating to Outlook 2013 and EAS on the home PC, I constantly received sync errors in outlook 2010 with the Hotmail connector.
I am using Office for Mac 2013

I have multiple appointments (sometimes 15) for the SAME appointment under "no category". I believe it is from when Entourage was imported, which I imported multiple times because I couldn't figure out what I was doing…I KNOW human/me error. I did remove the "entourage" category…but they all now go under the "no category".

I have tried to go into each and every appointment, cancelled the series or recurrences; which in turn sent dozens of cancellations to the person that was invited!!! But the appointments do NOT go away the following month or year! For example, my husband had sent a DAILY reminder to call for something.  He didn't put an end date as we wanted it to continue until we actually called and then he would cancel it.  Well, I have dozens upon dozens from past years and they are all multiplied. Yes, I have changed the recurrence/series and deleted…THEY ARE STILL THERE!!!!

The ONLY way I can figure out how get rid of them is to hide them by unchecking the "no category" on the calendar.  Which then when he sends me an appointment invite and I accept, it doesn't show up because he isn't in a category. Is there a way to have his appointment invites go directly to a specified category in my calendar???

SURE HOPE I'M MAKING SENSE!!!

IF anyone has a solution to either of these problems….PLEASE…I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
Hello community,

Sorry for my bad english.

I have a problem with some appointments created for my only one user using Outlook 2011 on OSX

An appointments is created, this user received it and accept it... But, it seems it's not synchronized on exchange 2010 server. only him can see this appointments on his Mac. If i check on owa, i can't see this appointment. And this does not happen on all appointments.

Someone has an idea ?

Regards

Hi, I have clients using Office365 exchange accounts in Outlook 2011 for Mac. They asked for a public shared calendar that all staff can see. I created a shared mailbox for the public calendar. I added the calendar to each person's Outlook2011, created a test appointment, everyone saw it. So far so good.

BUT next day the editors could no longer create appointments unless they went through the "open new calendar" process all over again, and the reviewers could no longer see new appointments being added unless they also re-opened the calendar. They could however all see the old appointments.

I've checked settings/permissions for their local install of Outlook2011, checked settings/permissions on the server, everything looks fine. Once they re-open the calendar it works perfectly. But they are not happy at having to remember to re-open it every time they logon in order to be able to use it.

Is there a way to make sure once the calendar is opened it will retain the settings without having to be re-opened the next day?

Any ideas? Help much appreciated!
