I have this same issue using OSX 10.6.8 with the latest patches and MS Office 14.2.4 (Outlook 2011). It seems that after pressing Preview, after 5-7 seconds, the attachment that's being previewed no longer is "highlighted" and that's when the preview window
shows "No items selected". It's as if another process is taking the focus away from that attachment to something else...

I received a suspicious email from a company I do business with. They would like me to send this email as an attachment. I am not to forward it. How do I do that with Hotmail?

In my Outlook 2011 I am trying to export emails so they are readable by other programs, either as mbox or eml files. I have tried multiple methods to do this including....
1) Drag the folder in Outlook 2011 to my desktop to create an MBOX file.
2) Save the email itself as an eml file by dragging it to finder
3) Sending the emails to my IMAP server by creating a folder and dragging them, then synchronizing with the server
4) Sending the email as attachment
No matter what I do, if i open up the email in Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or even open it back up in Outlook 2011, I see no subject and no sender and often the emails are corrupted.
When viewing them in Thunderbird or Apple Mail I get the error message displayed "This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible."
These emails display just fine in Outlook 2011 (14.2.4), they range from recent emails to some over a decade old. Because of this though I would never be able to move to Outlook for Windows, or any other email program, I also can't seem to forward emails
as attachments from my archive on my computer.
Has anyone ever run in to this problem? I am hesitant to purchase a program like Emailchemy until I know the root cause of the issue and whether or not a program like that would fix the issue.

I am using Windows Live Mail. I want to attach of send a picture (JPG) at a reduced size, but the pictures always seem to be sent as a .png file. The resolution-size of this file is not good at all and the recipient cannot zoom in to see any detail.
How can I send a picture (JPG) at a greater size, but not full size. I have also tried sending as an attachment which is full size, but this always fails.

Email Contents failed to show and the contents becomes and attachment
I am using Windows 7 Professional operating and Windows live mail version 15.4.3555.0308. Both my operating system and other microsoft products updates up-to date. So far I dont have any issues, but from past 3 weeks my live mail not working properly like it takes many times to load my messages and the email contents failed to show in preview pane.
I know this question has been asked before but am still have the same problem after I've tried all of the suggestions mentioned in this community. I dont use any other party antivirus program to scan my system except Microsoft security essential.
Sometimes I could read my mails when I close it and re-opened. But now that trick also not working for me.
I dont like to go for thrid party mail like thunderbird etc. Hope someone can come with a right solution.

I cannot figure out how to download an attachment from my Exchange email account to my computer's hard drive when using Outlook 2011. I can view it but not save it to my HD.
The Outlook Web App downloads the attachment as soon as I click on its name. Why not have the same functionality -- and ability to turn it on or off -- in Outlook 2011? Is it there but I haven't found it yet?

I received an email error after sending photo attachment:
Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

Now I am unable to send any emails, and I do not know how to delete this error message. Help

Canñt see attachment in SENT folder
hello. I rebuild my main identity for my Outlook but i can´t see attachments in my SENT folder. I got all attachments in INBOX folder. thanks in advance.12. Since updating Outlook 2011 for Mac to version 14.2.3 opening Task attachments from OWA is not working any longer. Some of our users use OWA to attach a PDF and an OWA Task. Since the update neither attachment is available in Outlook 2011. Remove the Task
attachment and the PDF is fine. But if the Task attachment is there then the Task attachment does not display and the PDF attachment is grayed out. Users of Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.1.4 and earlier have no problem with the attachments. I believe this
problem started with the 14.2.2 update and I have reproduced it on Mac OSX 10.6.x, 10.7.x and 10.8.x. Any idea's? Thanks.
