When I try to use Outlook receive mail or send this message comes up: Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods. That floors me! Is there a workaround for this?

Added an iPhone with email and now MacBook Pro Outlook will not send/receive. Error message: "outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods". Bellsouth is the internet service provider. Neither they nor Verizon could help. Next
steps? All worked fine until the phone was added. Another person who has PC added an iPad with email with no issues. Same family and week.

I cannot send any outgoing messages. It was working for months and then nothing, but the following error message:Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods. The same error message as others have posted,
but it's for outgoing emails. I am using a new Mac Book Pro. What is the solution, anyone?
