I've been getting email from someone that claims if I don't provide my full name, user name, date of birth, password and country I live in, hotmail will cancel my account. Is this legit or some type of hack job?
I received an email claiming to be from Windows Live Customer Care asking me to verify my hotmail account by providing my name, user name, password, birth year, and home country. Is this legit?
I recieved an e-mail from drbvived@hot mail.com for a account update to be sent to this e-mail address. they want my user name, password,date of birth and country. I'm to reply or my account may be removed.
They use code: ID67565434. Should I reply t this e-mail?

I know it is a phishing scam, but can we forward these emails to a "phishing" site or "abuse" site for investigation? If so, what is the url? I currently just delete them.

I am having trouble with the block account issues. I have enterred all information to fill the screen as required except for birth date due to security concern and credit card previously used and I still get we can't verify your information true alternate
email. My email address is (Removed email address for security reasons) and had this email for over 15yrs I think. The key concern here is a job offer been expected.
I just got an e mail that said my account would be blocked unless I provided my full name, birth date, password, e mail account, etc. How do I know if this is a valid e mail from hotmail? I do not want my account to be blocked, but I also do not want
my account to be hacked. I thought that hotmail would never ask for a password.

This email does not look like any ever received from Hotmail. It has red, blue, yellow & black lettering.
