recover blocked hotmail

I have tried every way possible through the MSN directories and can't recover my blocked hacked account.  I do not recall what my old alternate email is. 
My email that is blocked is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***   I have a bit of information there that I dont want to lose.

1/ If I view the “message source” for an email in my Hotmail account, is such viewing of the message source safe (lets assume the email itself is not safe or contains potentially unwanted code)?

2/ are emails with domains or links to “microsoft.windowslive.com” authentically from Micosoft/Hotmail? (as there is a bit of a debate about this on the net)

Is it true that hotmail is going to a new secure 1024-bit RSA key anti-virus firewall and is asking for user name, password, Year of Birth, and Country info from the users or is this just a phishing e-mail

Cannot delete messages

I cannot delete read messages from windows live mail, I keep getting  "an unknown error has occurred" I am running windows 7 64 bit version,  can you please help with this problem.
