Thousands of emails were moved without warning to my deleted folder. How can these all be restored to my inbox and sent boxes at once?

I am the only one who uses my computer.  I don't use a mobile phone.  Thousands of emails were automatically moved without warning to my Deleted folder.  How can these all be restored to my inbox and sent boxes without moving each individually?  Please reply ASAP.

Thought I had the hang of it, but - My e-mail messages are displayed in the lower area whether or not they are opened.  In the configuration of Read the 4 boxes are all "unchecked".   I woulld like the messages to only be displayed if I choose to open them.   I would think a default setting would be such for security.  Thank you   I have just had to re-install the Windows Live Mail and have also updated to IE9

Outbox and other boxes — sent mail, drafts, junk mail — are all not visible.

I have four messages stuck in my outbox, which is invisible and inaccessible. When I followed the advice to go off line and send myself an email so the outbox would become visible, it didn't work, and all the other boxes -- sent mail, junk mail, drafts -- disappeared. I'm using Outlook 2011 for Mac, 14.4.2. PLEASE HELP! I can receive mail but not send because of the stuck messages in the hiding outbox.
