I just recently updated to Office 2011 from Office 2008.  While the import of Entourage data was relatively clean, I end up with nearly ALL of my calendar events tied to my old Entourage calendar.  If I uncheck the Entourage calendar most appointments disappear.  In addition, all new appointments entered into Outlook 2011 end up as an Entourage event.

In very short order I want to totally remove Entourage (and the rest of Office 2008) from my Mac but am now unsure what will happen to all my calendar events.

So, my questions:
1.  How do i get the Entourage entries to appear as Outlook entries?
2. How do I get new appointment entries to NOT appear as Entourage events?
3.  What happens to the Entourage events if/when I get rid of Office 2008 (including the identities - which, of course, I will back up)?

Thank you
I downloaded a pst file from my windows version.  However, I want to use one calendar.  Although I can access the pst calendar where I have most of my appointments, every time I add an appointment it goes to the other calendar file.

Thanks
The tasks on recently installed Outlook 2011 for Mac originally worked.  A few days ago when I opened Tasks none were visible.  All attempts to add new tasks failed.  I utilized the Outlook Help online.  Saw others had same issue.  Tried solutions seen there.  None worked.Date and Time format is correct.  The boxes in left pane are checked.

Also am surprised that I have not been able to synchronize Calendar and Contacts with Microsoft MSN.  Have done so with Outlook 2010 on Laptop.

Until today there have been very few problems with accessing my Windows Live Hotmail calendar.  Today however I can't access it - I keep getting message - "Problem with Web-site security certificate" and then 2nd Message  - "Security certificate presented by this web-site has expired or is not yet valid"

Need help ( I'm a computer relative ignoramus)

Didn't know if this is the correct place to post a bug report but here goes...
Hotmail and Calendar will not render properly when TLS1.2 is turned on in the browser. From a Windows 7 client

Detailed Symptoms:
https://gfx6.hotmail.com
https://gfx7.hotmail.com
https://gfx8.hotmail.com etc.
Fail to connect e.g to fetch "https://gfx8.hotmail.com/mail/16.2.7040.0620/styles/Base/Full/hig.css"
So all the Inbox page formatting is lost (no images, all links listed down the left). Calendar fails to load at all.

Extra info:
Packet captures show a TLS1.2 TLSCipherSuite: TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256 { 0x00, 0x3D } Server hello followed by an immediate client connection closure.
Schannel errors appear in the event log "The following fatal alert was generated: 40. The internal error state is 252" i.e. Handshake error. My best guess is that these handshake failures are due to the Server Hello returns the full Certificate chain back to AND INCLUDING the "GTE CyperTrust Gobal Root" Root Cert. This is a MD5 Signed cert but the default ClientHello Signature extension does not list MD5/RSA as an allowed signing algorithm. So the client is aborting.

Why, every time I get an Office for Mac update, does it then delete every event from my iCal calendar, even though it was in the iCal calendar that I created the event?
it is getting annoying!
Recently, with no discernable change to any of my settings, I have started to receive shared calendar event alerts and need to turn them off.
My calendar entries are initially appearing and then 'disappearing' after a few seconds.  What is happening?
I am able to create and send an event successfully to recipients via the Exchange Server. However, when I try to access *** Email address is removed for privacy *** using EWS API calls, I keep getting the error

"The SMTP address has no mailbox associated with it."

In Outlook, all indications are that the calendar and event are fully synchronized.

I have been fighting this issue for hours. Can anyone help?

How do I create a calendar in Hotmail?

The Windows live calendar requires my to log in 3 or 4 times before it loads.
