Hi, I have been getting the following message for over a week now...

Your service is Suspended. Please make the required DNS changes.
     You can Cancel service or Edit mail settings

  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: galones.com.ve
  • MX server: 6760e66ccb35eb45ba8f0a02a6dca6.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority)

I have checked my DNS personally & had my domain host check it too (more than 1 week ago already). However I'm still getting the above message and am not receiving any email (can still send).

Need to get this fixed quick, please help,

This status has been present for 2 weeks+.  

Domain: britishcommunity.org

Domain Description: Website for a group that meet up and speak English in Italy, and have meetups and events in English.

I have set up the MX record in DNS correctly.

I have been on the phone to Microsoft support, they have never heard of the "Live Admin Center" or the ability to have free custom email addresses. I was transferred from technical support to IT Specialists and then to the Outlook support team. All of which said they were unable to fix the problem and that I should chat to a live agent on the support website. The live agent told me to ring Microsoft support. It would appear only the community moderators have any knowledge of this issue.

I have already set my domain's MX record but I still can get rid of this warning after few days:


"It may take a few minutes to complete the changes to your service. Please check back later.
You can Cancel service or Edit mail settings."


I pressed the Refresh button multiple times but with no progress. What is it waiting for?

Also, I verified that mxtoolbox show the correct mx record.


Like many others I am having a problem with my Admin Center not verifying my domain (UnluckyOne.com). I have already added one domain (Nyleen.com) with no problems, did nothing different with this one and it still doesn't work. Having read all of the forums I have seen how horrible Microsoft support has been; Please actually help me.

I HAVE read the MX Record Error Document posted on other forum responses.

I HAVE deleted my Domain and restarted the process (3x).
I HAVE contacted GoDaddy and verified everything is working correctly.
I HAVE checked with WhatsMyDNS.com to verify the MX Record and text record.
I HAVE even deleted the mail option and tried to verify with just the TXT record and that didn't work either.

My setting are as follows:

DOMAIN: UnluckyOne.com

   Mail setup (required)
To set up mail and prove ownership of this domain, you must create an MX record through your domain registrar. Use the following settings:
  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: unluckyone.com
  • MX server: 2c20bb4d6fd71d4ab1aab291e849fb.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority)
