Recently e-mails that are unrelated to each other are being "combined" into one item in my Inbox.  It appears that Hotmail is looking at the subject line and "consolidating" the e-mails.  These e-mails had "no subject" but were sent by different people at completely different times and were never part of the same e-mail chain.  This is a terrible feature--can anything be done about it?
As of today, when I reply to an email , the reply shows up in my inbox and the original email is included in the reply.  I don't want an email chain, I want to see the original email to appear in my inbox not the reply.  How do I fix this?
I had a live mail folder backed up on an external hard drive and the folder shows 20 emails; but after the import, there are only 14 showing. How do I get the other 6 to show? Note that the 6 "missing" emails are re: (i.e. reply) type of one of the showing 14 - only the last re: shows - even the original email in the chain isn't showing. Thanks for your help.
