I am using windows live mail on a windows 7 dell laptop. I set up my charter email account correctly and occasionally it works fine but most other times when I click it open it displays the page that I was on when I closed it. It fails to connect with
Charter to retrieve my emails, instead I get the error message that says I have to sign in and then it reads that I have the worng username or password. Is there another system that would serve me better?
I'm trying to add my Charter email to my Outlook.com going through the following steps:
Add an email account
Add a send-and-receive account
pop.charter.net PORT 110
mobile.charter.net PORT 587 w/ SSL
All that works fine.
I changed my Default "From" address reflecting my charter email address
I can send and receive but whatever email I send does not show up in my SENT box no matter how much time I give it.
Resetting cache and temp internet files makes no difference.
Just got my computer back from repair. Setup all mail users for G-Mail (IMAP) but when it came time to setup Charter email accounts in Windows Live Mail, it's not happening. Charter is my ISP. I get the following message. This is the IMAP message and
the POP message respectively...
Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

ISSUES: Cannot Send E-mail Using Windows Live Mail and Windows 7 through Charter
Can I set up my charter email on outlook. So far I haven't been able to find a way.
Right now I have my email on windows mail but it doesn't work right. Is there a way to get on outlook?
email subject changes from bold within about 1 second meaning that email has been read when I have not read it.
