Hello, I am having an issue where my calendar cannot be viewed when shared by link.

I made a calendar called 'test calendar' to illustrate my problem.

When I try to access it via a shared link, the browser refuses to display it.  I have tried Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.  Here's the message that Chrome gives:
The server at cid-a6287d64e7963ed6.calendar.live.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

I am currently in college, and the users that I plan to share this with are at my college and also another nearby college.
Hi,

I've been using the new Outlook.com, which replaced Windows Hotmail last year, and I've noticed a couple of things that I think is an issue between using Outlook.com on Internet Explorer versus Google Chrome:

1) The first annoying thing that I've tested and found out recently is that when I copy and paste an image found on the internet into the body of an e-mail...On IE, when I click on the image in the e-mail, there's the indicators that shows that I can resize the image however I want so that when I e-mail it, if it's a very big original picture size, I can use the diagonal indicators to resize it down smaller and then play around with sending it.

However, on Google Chrome, when I'm signed into my Outlook.com account and try to do the same thing, all that does is allow you to copy and paste the image from the source that you've copied from on the internet website, but, when you click on the image, nothing happens.  There's no indicators around the image to resize it, and that has been frustrating with some fun images I've liked to insert into the body of an e-mail in which I cannot control the proportion ratio of the image size displayed in the e-mail, so some pictures originally are small, some are very big, and there's nothing I can seem to do about it unless I force myself to use IE to send that e-mail, which is annoying.

Any fix to this?  I want to stick with Outlook.com and not download a client.

2) I have not confirmed this next issue if it happens only on Google Chrome or also on IE, but when I attach images to a e-mail to send to someone, I can see the previews by clicking on them, and the same thing in the case of which I reply to that e-mail with the same attachments, I can preview the images.  However, when it comes to forwarding the e-mail that has those image attachments to someone, the images are not viewable.  The only thing I see is a square thumbnail size box underneath the e-mail header with an option when you hover over it to "x" out the image, but I cannot click on the image to view the preview of it.

The only workaround I've had with this is that I've had to delete the photos and reupload all of them into the e-mail attachment so that I can view them before or after e-mailing it to someone.  Is this a known problem?

Please e-mail me back regarding these 2 areas.

Thanks,

Mike
"Later" never comes.  Can sign in through Google Chrome but Chrome allowed a malware onto my computer.  Please help.  This has been happening for months.  Not related to recent problem with chrome.
Outlook/Hotmail opens ok with very little problem in I.E. but when trying to open in Google Chrome the page shown above appears. Is this a problem between Outlook and Chrome, and how can it be fixed???
Hi
for the last 3 weeks i've not been able to log into outlook.com through chrome  on my galaxy s3.
I am able to log in using the standard internet app that came with the phone and I was also able to log in through chrome with no issues before this problem started.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the app and also clearing my cache and cookies but still have the same issue.
I have also tried accessing the site by typing the address in and searching it through google but still no joy.
please help

I use either IE8 or Chrome and outlook.com was working fine.  A couple of weeks ago I started having a problem with the drop down menus - they were not available when selected.  Today I deleted the cache, cookies, and browsing histories in both IE8 and Chrome.  The problems now are:

IE8 - can not open email messages - there is flickering between the cursor and hourglass for a while  before it settles down - I can highlight the message but it won't open; also 'error on page' displays on bottom status screen; but the drop down menus are working.

Chrome - can open the messages but the drop down menus do not work.

Also, previously IE8 would not autofill my username but Chrome would.  Now neither autofills.

Why is it that chat will work in Internet Explorer but not Firefox and Chrome? I'm not a big Internet Explorer user so I'd prefer to chat in my Firefox or Chrome. Is this a fixable issue and when can it be fixed? It won't even let me sign in, just says sign in, and the dial repeatedly spins in a circle. Please respond quickly, needing my chat! Thanks.
