Cannot see icon within Skype that shows new messages on Hotmail

I installed the full Skype program that replaces Windows Live Messenger but I cannot see an 'email envelope' icon within Skype (like there was in Messenger) that shows new messages and the ability to click on the envelope icon to open Hotmail automatically.

How can I view new messenges when signed in to Skype?

Delete unwanted friend invitation

Have received unwanted friend invitation in Messenger. Have tried to delete it without any success. When I click on it in profiles it comes up but then the screen flickers until the information re invitation disappears. Have tried clicking "delete" on screen between flickers but still no luck. Please help :)

I want to turn off messenger so that it does not load at startup. I don’t use it at all. So how do I do that? Running Windows 7. New machine 3 weeks old.

Just got a new computer, Windows 7. No longer have Outlook Express for e-mail, so in setting up Windows Live Mail, I also got Windows Messenger. So now it loads at Start-Up. I have been unable to find any method to keep it from doing so. It's just that every time I start the computer, I have to click it off because I will not use Instant Messenger. Thanks for any help.

How I get Outlook 2011 to download ALL messages (including message bodies) -in ALL folders and subfolders- on a imap account?

I've created a new identity, and want Outlook (14.2.4) to download ALL messages in ALL folders and subfolders. In my account settings, I've unchecked 'Download headers only'.

But it doesn't do the job for all folders. When I go to a certain subfolder, he still has messages that were not downloaded (the headers are there, but when I click on the header, it starts downloading the message body only then.

I've given Outlook enough time, but I keep having messages with bodies that are not downloaded (unless I click on the header and then starts downloading)...

How can I have ALL my messages automatically downloaded completely...?

I cannot colour the text in hotmail the text wont stay highlighted and the colour chart disappears when i click on the colour icon, the other icons i.e. font etc i dont have this problem just the colour, i have windows7 - It worked approx 2 weeks ago

Emotions won’t show in IM

When I type :-) it shows just that....my emotions no longer display even when I click on one it converts it to symbols. How can I fix this?

In Outlook 2011, is there a way to send as one of my alias addresses?

Hi,

I have an Office365 exchange account with multiple aliases. When I use Office2010 or OWA and I create a new email, I just click the "From" field (assuming I've enabled it) and type any of my alias addresses to send as. It's usually just a hybrid textbox and drop down box. In Office 2011, the From field is just a full drop down box preventing me to type anything. It's forcing me to choose only between the accounts I've set up.

Is there a way to send as one of my alias addresses in Outlook 2011?

I was able to fix my own email after making the mistake of selection 'always use HTTPS', because I had an open window of my hotmail account before the chance, so that I could click on 'options'. Now I am trying to fix my parents hotmail account. I signed in using this address: account.live.com/ManageSSL, then selected to not use HTTPS, It confirmed that the change was made, but has not altered the look of the page--still looks like a website directory with no functionality. Help!

I sometimes get a notification of incoming mail via Windows Live Mail, which I generally use for e-mail,, but when I click the icon on the system tray, there is no new mail. I found the missing e-mail on another e-mail webmail system supported by my ISP, virginmedia.com. Any suggestions how to rectify this anomoly?

My email hotmail contacts list most often doesn't come up when I click on 'Contacts'. But I can still import email addresses from the list into the 'To' box. By the way, I hate the new contacts list format: It's much too big, so scrolling down takes longer, and there's nowhere to click straight back into Inbox - I have to do two clicks, one on the arrow and the other on Mail. And there's no alphabet to allow the user to click immediately on the letter for the person. It's extremely unfriendly. And why can I no longer click back from one screen to another with an arrow?
