I have a client domain that I'm trying to activate through DNS records for Windows Live Domains. Previously this has not been a problem but this particular domain only recently transferred into me, and we are planning to migrate them from a legacy mail
environment to Outlook.com.
The problem is I seem to be unable to activate the domain through the DNS records that I usually would, to enable a staged migration. The system says the service for the domain is suspended, and I must add the relevant DNS records - which exist and I have
full control over, but I cannot yet override the existing primary MX delivery.
Please help to activate my domain to give the 30 days grace before the primary MX record points at Outlook.com.
