I want to cancel my account for Microsoft as my windows 8 phone and laptop and playing about. After talking to the windows live team they recommend deleting my account the setting it up with my old e-mail address when I try to cancel my account I am faced
with the error 'You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account.' I click okay then nothing happens, Any help would be appreciated

Recently my mobile phone was stolen which had hotmail account linked.
I can cancel the account however whoever has my phone can reactivate the account using my phone.
Is there any way of requesting an email account be closed immediately?

I want to close my Microsoft account as I do not use it anymore, however when I try to close it I get the error message 'You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft Account'.
This account used to be associated with my Xbox live Gamertag but I have moved it to another and I have no services or MS points associated with it. I would be grateful if you could please help me delete it?

Apparent billing subscriptions are keeping me from closing my Hotmail account. I have no subscriptions or transactions on my account, so I have no way of canceling the billing services and closing my account.

I am trying to close *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and I get the message that I need to cancel billing services. I click the link to cancel them and get this: No billing information available We couldn't find billing information associated with this account. My unique
ID is (removed PII)
Can you please let me know what I can do to close this account?
