Hi guys, my college email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** has been blocked from signing in. This was due to me spamming logins because I couldn't login. It always said that my password was incorrect, but I have been able to log in to it about 3 to 4 days ago. I have also tried resetting my password, but despite that, I couldn't login. My school was recently doing this upgrade email process 2 or 3 days ago and the update is apparently over. I'm not sure if this was because of me leaving my college email still signed on during the update. School is about to start in less than a week, so someone please help out asap! :(. I'm feeling really stressed out at the moment. :((. Thanks. <3

I have been assigned an email address from my college

it is a @gslive.wa.edu.au web address

But it doesn't work and tells me that this account doesn't exist when trying to sign into my email using outlook following the instructions from my college.

But when I attempt to verify my student status using dream spark or purchasing office365 university it wont fail when sending the verification to the student email address which I cant currently access.

My student number isn't new it has been around for many years at my college but I have only just begun using it again this may be a factor.

I have been told by my college that they cant help as they have tried to reset it and it has made no difference they have directed me to contact Microsoft so can some please guide me to the correct location to assist in the actual status of the account and correct the error.

Thanks in advance

about every 2 - 5 minutes I get this error code and it hangs my email for about 30 sec each time.  Any way to clear the error??

Been doing this since October!
It's been a few days and I've noticed I have not been receiving e-mails on my e-mail which is used primarily for school. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Emails that my family, friends, professors, & work are being bounced back.  I use my email a lot to contact my school professors as this is the only way they can contact me because my school is an online college. My email inbox is not full as I check it everyday or two.  I also empty my junk mail and delete folders on a regular basis, so as not to overfill my email.  My email is not blocked or locked.  Not sure what all else I am missing as I just learned of this problem.  Can you help me to continue receiving emails?  I really need to be able to receive all my emails because most of them are important for my work and my education.
But the truth is I sent out nearly 30 job applications by email yesterday. To unblock my account, the only option it is giving me is to have the unblock code sent to an old college email address that I no longer have access to. What can I do?? I need to access my emails to see if I have any job offers! Please help!!!
I've tried sending Microsoft Answers a "screen shot" of an email from my college alumni association, which should NOT  be marked as "suspicious", but the dumb (misnamed) "SmartScreen" filters still keep flagging those messages as such. I have the alumni association's email address in my list of "safe" contacts, and consistently click "Show content", but there doesn't seem to be anything else I can do get the filters to stop 'red-flagging' the messages. In the meantime, I keep getting email that I always mark as "junk" in my inbox, over & over from the same senders. Makes me suspect that Microsoft is accepting payments from the senders to keep letting that particular junk through, and regarding it as "advertising revenue", since invariably the stuff that comes through is some kind of advertising. I'd switch to another email address, via a different provider, but unfortunately other providers do the same damn thing. Not much I can do other than grumble. I may have to 'just live with it', but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
