Switched from Vista to new computer running Windows 8.  Reloaded MSN Premium e mail.  If I receive an e mail with either a photograph as an attachment or a video WMV file and try to "open" it I get an error message from MSN Mail "The command failed to execute."   Strange though if I forward the e mail messages to my gmail account it will open either without any problems. HELP....
I have Windows live on my Windows 7 and I want to use Hotmail as my email address instead of my server.  I need to change the POP portal numbers to get it to work and can not find them anywhere on the Hotmail site.
I have a MAC computer, how do I fix my hotmail so that the keep me signed in feature works?
Using Mac 10.5.8 and Firefox (but also Safari). Just recently. My links fail to work on sign-in page and when I manage to get to inbox, they fail again to access my messages. Have set and reset HTTP, cleared cache, and run virus scan.  Problem persists. I can access my mail via Ipad. So problem is specific to one computer.
The message is "Microsoft is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later". Do I have a bug in this computer? I have always used Microsoft Security Essentials as my virus protection but this has slipped in on this computer. How can I fix it?

I have finally found the time to sort out my e-mails. I must admit that my computer skills are in their infancy, so I had concerns with using sweep,

and scheduling clean ups.

It's a great idea to set rules for e-mails and delete certain ones after so many days. Many of the people and places I scheduled for clean up are in folders. Are these safe, some are quite old and I need them. I just want to make sure my e-mails in folders are safe and won't be deleted with sweep or during clean ups. Thank you for your time.

I'm somewhat new to WLM. When coming from a previous XP, EI8 computer, I transferred my internet settings into my new Win7, EI9 program. WLM worked perfectly right from the beginning. A couple of days into my use of WLM, at some point I was presented with a sign in page, and I entered my email address and password, thinking that it was necessary. However, ever since then, whenever I hit the email icon in the bottom tray or "read email" in the command line of IE9, a sign-in pop-up appears every time, even though, behind it, WLM is already checking and downloading email. I just cancel the pop up each time, but it's an annoyance that I don't want to experience for ever! How do I remove that pop-up sign-in?

Would value help! Thanks!

Looking for some help. I recently refreshed to a new retina MBP running OSX Mountain Lion from a previous MBP running OSX Lion. The new machine came preloaded with all the apps I needed and all I want to do is move local email folders in 'on my computer' to the new one. I proceeded to highlight the folder in question and then did a File-->Export to an .OLM file. The procedure worked (took a long time for 13Gig of data). Then I copied the OLM file to portable drive and then tried to File-->Import the .OLM file into Outlook on the new machine. Every time I tried to use the import function Outlook crashes.

Any ideas?

Thanks
