I don't know if this is related, but my other 2 computers (laptop and other home system - all running Win 7) can log onto skydrive and see the private notes.  The computer that cannot finish setup of skydrive (ran for months before without any issues) also cannot access the private files, just keeps reloading the full public thread even after I sign in.
My son had a laptop that we sold to someone else. In order to access the computer, he needed my son's email address and password to Microsoft. The new owner went in and changed the email address for the administrator for the computer to his email address. Now Microsoft says my son's email and account does not exist. So I tried to create another account with his same email address and it says there is already one with that email address. The new owner of the computer said they changed their info back to my son's account info, but Microsoft still says account and email do not exist. HELP!!

My computer has recently been attacked by virus.  The computer has been cleaned.  However, I can no longer able to open or save an attachment no matter it is a Microsoft document or PDF document. I need to forward the email to gmail to open the attachment. It will be appreciated if you can help.

Many thanks.

Hi,

My SkyDrive folders on computer have stopped syncing (I can't see changes made on other devices) and all files are read-only when opened in Office 2013.

I can' create a folder in SkyDrive folder and I'm denied permission to save files to document folder in SkyDrive on my desktop.

I am administrator on my computer.

Metro SkyDrive up also not showing updated (newly created) files but not throwing up and error that can't sync.

Please, can you help?

Thanks

I've made several changes to folders on one of my Skydrive computers (windows 7) and I'm not seeing those changes on my other computer (Windows Vista).  Do I have to wait longer?  So far its been about 12 hours and the Vista computer says I'm in sync and the Windows 7 computer says "processing changes".

I'm using my SkyDrive to host files for a group project for school (I'm a Master's candidate in English). My group and I have noticed some problems on some of the computers on campus where SkyDrive loads in a language other than English. The problem does not occur on every computer, but we cannot figure out how to change it. We found a Language setting at one point, but all the choices are in the language we can't read, so we're not sure which one is U.S. English. Fortunately, this hasn't caused too many problems yet - we've just moved to other computers and tried again - but as we get closer to Final Exams, I worry that there won't be another computer to move to. SkyDrive has been SO much more convenient than keeping files on flash drives and e-mailing them to each other, and I don't want to remove our files, but I'm not sure what to do - if we can't use the site, it doesn't do us much good.

Thank you so much for any and all help/suggestions!

I signed up for skydrive a few days ago, and when my son went on the computer tonight to find his resume, we noticed that all my documents were gone off of my computer.  What happened to them?  They are no where on my computer nor are they on my skydrive account.

I am very upset due to the fact that there was a lot of information in those files that cannot be reproduced.  Please advise.
