I use Skydrive to sync data between several computers, on of which I have recently lost.

I am worried about my data, if somebody has found that computer and managed to get into it. DropBox gives me the option to unlink any device connected to and syncing my data from the web interface. For Skydrive I have not found such a functionality - is there any?

Of course I have immediately changed my Skydrive password, but I am not sure whether this will solve the issue.

Can anybody help?
Every single time I turn on my computer, I am getting the message that Outlook needs to be repaired. Why is this? I usually do a quick fix, but then have to re-fix it the next time I turn on the computer. I did the whole fix one time, and it wiped out all of my microsoft products and I had to have them re-installed. Does anybody have a suggestion for fixing this? Thx.
I have continued using my Hotmail through Microsoft Office 2010 Outlook on my computer and with sync to my Android Bionic.  I never responded to the Outlook.com changes.  I now receive annoying, frequent pop up messages on my computer to update or add a profile to my Outlook through my Windows control panel.  I also receive popup error messages on my smartphone.  The mail still comes through and works as it always did.  But, what do I do about the popup errors -- the profile on MS Outlook is correct.  Must I to pay attention to Outlook.com?  I don't understand the relationships.  Thanks

Original title: Hotmail-Outlook.com relationship?

Recently I was using my computer for functions other than email and suddenly the migration to Outlook.com auto started and during the process;

1.  My contacts were moved successfully.

2.  However, all of my emails stored in personal folders on my computer disappeared but all of the folder names remain in MSN Explorer just no detail.  Over in Outlook.com none of the detail is visable and none of the folders were moved over.

This is a serious problem for me since I have/had a lot of historical and personal information stored there.

Can you tell me were they all went or where they are stored on my computer?

3. Also I wanted finish what I assume was supposed to be a totally automatic conversion and set Outlook.com as my primary email source but have been hesitant until the above issues are resolved. Is there a process for this. I am a long time MSN Premium subscriber.

4. Once Outlook.com was activated, MSN Mail no longer allows any email to be sent and if it is attempted, the application will abend.

I look forward to resolving these issues.

When checking the same Outlook.com account on 2 different locations using Outlook 2013 in both:

Some e-mails will show in one computer and in the same account in another computer doesn't receive those e-mails.

When I set up the account freshly, he downloads all e-mails properly from Outlook.com so number of emails in Outlook.com and Outlook 2013 are the same. After a few days some e-mails are missing in Outlook 2013 but show on Outlook.com

Seems to be some sort of server synchronization problem. I've had this posted in Outlook 2013 forums but they said it is a server problem, probably some e-mails on the server are corrupted and this causes problems with Outlook 2013.
OK, I've read a lot of comment about Skydrive synch and none seem to address my simple problem.

I have two computers - a windows 8.1 desktop and a windows vista laptop.  I have skydrive installed on each  box.  I've been using it successfully for months - until I updated to 8.1.

Here's what I expect:  when I update a file on either computer, I expect that updated file to appear on the other computer.  Pretty simply - and it has always worked that way.  Now, with the 8.1 update, the data doesn't transfer from one to the other.  In additon, when I update a file on the W8.1 computer, the update doesn't appear on the web version of skydrive.

Something appears to have changed under W8.1 and it doesn't appear to have changed for the best.

Do I have to return to Google drive to get the rather simple functionality that I've experienced with Skydrive but thqt has disappeared???

Hi Everyone,
I have 12 computers in my network, all using Windows Live Mail to send and receive emails with same set of email accounts configured on each computer. Instead of getting each computer receiving email from internet, I want to have a centralized email storage network location, where one computer will be syncing to server and storing all emails to that location and all other computers connected to the same location. This is beneficial because:
  • I will be having a local copy of all the emails in one location.
  • Emails will be downloaded once, and in case adding or replacing a new PC, there will be no need to download all emails again, hence reducing bandwidth usage both on user end and email server end.
I would appreciate if someone would come up with a solution or an alternative AT NO EXTRA COST!

Looking forward to hear from you all...

I have set up family safety on 4 different computers for different children. I have set the  web filtering to "allow list only" and have blocked everything save for about 10 websites. On 3 of the computers it is now working properly. But on the fourth computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium) it is working for regular websites. But for some reason it is allowing my son to access (what appears to be) any game-related website.
If I go to a news website (i.e. cnn) or even google.com, it is blocked. But if I go to any url that has "game" in it, it allows it, i.e. gamestop.com or games.yahoo.com.
Additionally, these "gaming" websites that it is allowing do NOT appear AT ALL in the reporting on the FS website. They do not appear on the web activity report at all, not as allowed, not as blocked - nothing! As far as FS is concerned, there is no log whatsoever, they simply disappear into thin air after they are visited.
The only thing I have been able to do for this user is add all the known game-related websites to a blacklist (blocked) and then he is indeed prevented from going there. But I cannot forever keep up with the new websites of this category that he will find.
I have all 4 computers set to the exact same settings in FS (apply to all children), but this problem only exists on one computer.
I have also done the following: Deleted User and created new user to which I have applied the same settings as other children. Still same problem persists on that PC with the new user.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I cannot keep up with this. If I cannot get this resolved we will have to look into other parental control options, as our children are on the computer most of the day for school and I cannot afford to have him playing games online.
Any advice to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to upload videos from my computer to my IPad, does not seem to work even though ITunes is uptodate on the computer
