However, the parental account was made a very long time ago and is no longer my parent's current email; as a result, they do not remember the password.
I have gone through recovery processes with them, but they cannot remember any old passwords tied to the parent account, and the recovery email for it just goes to an even older, unused email account.
TL;DR, can't recover account, tried passwords and account recovery, both unavailable options.
I was wondering if there is a way that Microsoft could possibly contact my parents to verify their new email, or just remove the parental account altogether (I am 16 and my parents have said that they don't care about me having a parental account, as they
have never used it and it has only caused hassle.)
