I use to be able to do this because I already have a printout from an earlier version of
the contact group. Not sure why I can't now.
I'm running Windows Live mail 2012 Build 16.4 on Windows 7 Home Premium.
If I go into Contacts and then right click on a Group (or Category?) I get options to Edit, Delete and Create a Category (same as Group I guess?). I also see an option for sending an email (presumably to the Category or Group). However this option is always greyed out and cannot be selected.
Can anyone shed any light on why this option should be greyed out? or is this a programming bug and the facility is not available?
Bernard
I have followed the steps to email a contact group as an attachment.
If I look under 'sent items' the attachment in my email opens as a contact group - all good.
However, the receiver of the email receives the attachment as a empty folder. Not even a file, just an empty folder.
We are not on exchange servers.
What are we doing wrong?
Please help!!
When I go to send, it get an error that pops up that "One or more recipients are invalid". I have gone through the list and found the @ symbol on each address and the extension is right on all addresses.
The message gets put into my Drafts" folder and does not send to anyone on the list, even the CC'ed addresses, one of which is my own.
How would one figure out which address(s) are causing the problem?
Thanks,
Harvey
When I send a mail out to a group of friends I always get a return mail error message telling me that my mail cannot be sent o a certain *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I do not know who he is, he is not in my Contacts list. When I check my group contact list, I do not see that name.
I have deleted the entire group contact and built a new one. The same thing happens.
Who is that mysterious guy? How is he hidden in my group contact list?
How can I delete him from my contact list so that I do not get a Mailer Daemon return message?
Thank for helping me solve this mystery
