I cannot find the remainder of my contact list, those who are not listed as favorites. on hot mail I could go straight to contacts list and they were listed. I'm finding Outlook not easy to work with, and a general pain in the neck.
Even though it looks like I have deleted a contact from a group list,... unchecked the "group" name box and "applied", when I send out an email to the group, the address of who I deleted still shows up on the address bar. I can't get people off of the group even though my group list shows that they are off. All I can do, besides apologizing to unwanted recipients is to completely delete their address from my "all"contact list so they don't exist in my system at all.
This has been happening with the new Outlook program and wasn't a problem with the old one.

My old Dell 1555 died, I saved the hard drive and now have it as a USB external drive. I am setting up my new Dell 5530 and need to transfer my Windows Live Mail - CONTACT list from old to new laptop (both Win7/64 home).  The old computer died before I could "export" Contact list. Please Help!"

I am using windows 7 and Live Mail.  I have found that whenever I attempt to access the contacts, whether to add to an email, or to just try and delete or edit my contact list, this causes the program to freeze up and become unresponsive.  I have lost several long email compositions because of this and it is very frustrating.  I have followed some links and tried deleting the contact cache without success as far as fixing the problem.  I have also unassociated social media, such as facebook, with Live Mail with negative results.  Please help with this frustrating situation.

Hi everybody.

Thanks in advance to anyone can help this is a problem that has plagued me for a while now to no avail.

I'm running a MacBook Pro Lion 10.7.5 with Office 2011 (Outlook) for Mac.

I have a large contact list as my account/identity is for a business. Being able to search the contacts list is very important and saves me a lot of time.

Unfortunately for some time now I have not been able to search the contacts on my Outlook at all.

It doesn't matter what I type, a contact first name, last name - the contact search yields zero results for anything. My contacts run at over 1000 - so clearly there is information there, but for whatever reason Outlook will not allow me to search the contacts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is a big ongoing logistical problem for me, please help!

Thank you.

-Dave

Original title: I cannot find help for live mail anymore

as mentioned abobe! Windows Live Mail has disappeared from the support scene!?

I have a heavy problem: names disappear from my contact list; I have no explanation for it. Who can advise?

I am working with VISTA!

Your contact list is not available right now, please try again later" Error Code: 80072f02
Hi I am having the same problem again after it has been resolved 2 months ago, Messenger "Your contact list is not available right now, please try again later" Error Code: 80072f02.

I tried all troubleshooting suggested by Microsoft.

please, help.

..."We Can't sign you into to Windows Live Messenger * Your contact list is unavailable right now, please try again later" 24 hrs later, I still get this ERROR message after I have already tried the repair advice from the Community thread: Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Repair; I shut it down & Restarted but Live Messenger sign-in is STILL a No-Go! Why can't MS PLEASE fix this? I even got another error message after the 'repair' in attempting to sign-in again, stating that my IP address 'appears to be invalid' - huh? I clicked the option to 'Repair', which eliminated this error and tried signing in again-- but it only reverted back to the 1st Error Message :( "Your Contact list is unavailable right now...etc., etc!" --Very frustrating-- MicroSoft: PLEASE Remedy This Issue(s) ~ Thank You!!

I still have all the names and email add's, that shows up when I create a "New" message...but is there a way to import those addresses to my Contact list?
how to delete contacts in Windows Live Mail. Left clicking on "contacts" doesn't provide a contact list. Is there some other way to access the contacts in my e-mail directory?
