My partner and myself both have hotmail accounts and it is only when we use our laptop that this is a problem.  When I log onto my account and access my contacts that is fine.  But my partner when he logs onto his account and this happens 5 out of 10 times he gets my contacts and none of his.  The rest of the folders on his account is fine it is just the contacts that change.  Any ideas?  it is so frustrating. We access hotmail via Windows Explorer and then Google.

There are 130 addresses in 1 group yet 180plus are being sent out. The group contact details don't seem to be updating. Hope you can help
When I send a letter the contact name takes forever to come up, when I attempt to reply the contact name takes forever to show
I purchased Office Home & Business 2011 step up upgrade online in order to get Outlook added to my Office suite. Excel has the reported toolbar corruption. The forums suggest removing all of office and reload. If I do this, will I loose all my email and contact data?

I have added a contact person in my address book yesterday but I went back in there today to try and put there email address in but there is not a place for it to go and if so where is it, cause I can't find it?

i dont appear to be getting any email from people who regularly contact me daily i have tried to contact them but no reply
When I try to type in a new address when I get to the @ it refuses to go any further. I have to use the body of the email to type , copy and paste in new addresses. Ive never had this kind of trouble with Hotmail before. When I type the @ my contacts pop up in a box and I cant continue. Its like its forcing me to use a contact address instead of typing in a new one. Please help. 
can i send instant m to offline contact ?

I just created a new email address and would like to transfer my contact list from my old email address so they will be informed of my new address.

Unfortunately, in copying a contact file from my primary PC to a backup, I used a new file name (simply changing the date). Unfortunately, where I had 400+ contacts in the back-up to start, I now have 800+. Instead of replacing the old contact file when I imported an updated one, it added the 2nd contact file..............creating 400 duplicates. Any suggestions for an easy way to eliminate the duplicates? The "clean up contacts" button remains grey in color, and will not respond to a click.  

 

A second question is -Can I go into the software and delete the 2nd file I imported? Let's say file #1 was named "backup10-11-12"  and the second file was "backup10-15-2". Can I delete the latter to eliminate the duplicates?
