Movie Maker error message: this page is processing information that is not under its control

Movie Maker Version: 2012 Build 16.4.3508

OS: Windows Pro 8., 64 bit

PC: HP Pavilion a6700y, AMD Phenom 9150e Quad Core; 6GB DRAM DDR2

Files : *.mov extension

Every time I open Movie Maker, I get an error message that says "This page is processing information that is not under its control."

How do I clear that error message. It occurs when I am opening a file from a folder in my Video library, so it has nothing to do with Internet access. It even occurs when I try to open a movie I created in Movie Maker.
