Windows live mail HELP!

Hi,

I've come into work this morning, opened up my emails as usual and an error message has appeared telling me type in my password. I have typed in my CORRECT password a number of times now and it still wont accept it which means i cannot send/receive e-mails.

I am using windows live mail on windows 7. The error message appears like

Unable to send or receive messages for the Skylineconversions (sales) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Can someone help me please as i need to access my work emails ASAP

Hi, my account has been hacked and the password changed in the last couple of days! Friday was the last time I successfully logged in and know I am trying the correct password! I no longer have access to my hotmail account and I have tried several times resetting the password and have also made a new email account to submit this post! I have no idea what to do next? Can somebody please help me to get my account back up and running, as i need to log back into my account URGENTLY!!! Please help!!

I tried the password reset option and account recovery process but

1. It is not accepting my security answer as the hacker has changed it

2. I no longer have access to the alternate email address but can confirm what that is.

3. The customer service which is the third option did not help me.

I had to make this second ID just to sign up in this forum.

Please help!! Thank you.

Parent password does not work

Hi, I just got microsoft points and im going to buy GTA4: The ballad of gay tony for GTA4 on my pc. I click confirm download and a window pops up asking for the parental account password. I enter the correct password and a window pops up saying "cant sign in to your windows live id, If the problem persists go to https://account.live.com. I dont know what to do can somebody please help. Thanks

Two days ago, I log into my account - all is well

Next day I log into my account and by mistake type a password for my computer account log in, ONCE, then I immediately input the correct password, and there you have it - account blocked, in the name of security.

What kind of a security measure is this exactly? The only malicious activity here is outlook preventing me from accessing my account.

"Because there have been multiple unsuccessful recovery attempts for this account, we recommend at this point that you create a new account."

So I input the correct password, but just because I can't recall every little detail in this questionnaire I can't access my account?

Why should I make an email account that I won't use to restore another email account? What if I lose the detail of that back up account because I never use it, then I need a 3rd account, and a fourth for that too.

I'll never share my payment methods and mobile phone details with outlook, so even though I know the correct password I don't seem to deserve to use it according to outlook security.

Only thing that keeps me at peace is that my emails are backed up on my phone, otherwise this would've been a major inconvenience.

So long outlook, I hope you will improve, but I won't be counting on it.

Three days ago I could not gain access to my my Hotmail account even though I had entered the correct password

I set up a new account and did my best to comply with the ACCOUNT RECOVERY procedure

This is a near impossible task as no human intelligence is used, merely a computer looking for an EXACT data match

and posted a Question on this site ( as yet with no response )

The next day I could not access my new account, ,again even though the password was correct.

To demonstrate that the password was correct THIS SITE recognised the account/password and allowed me to post a

supplement to my original question

Today I tried to log into my original account

but was denied access due to an excess of failed log in attempts

AND NOT because the password was incorrect

Three days ago the "log in page" format was changed by Microsoft

All this leads me to the conclusion that my account has not been Hacked

but that there is some systems glitch

Please can my Original account be UNBLOCKED

UNBLOCKING represents no security risk , either I know my correct password or I dont.

And please would somebody on the staff of ANSWERS .MICROSOFT pay me the courtesy of responding

having first read this Question and not simply telling me to follow the ACCOUNT RECOVERY process

i have the correct password its not working. i got a reset link but thats no longer valid apparently. i filled out the questionaire the same way i did before that got me the password reset link the first time but now its not enough info please help my account is lockedf i have the correct password it worked two days ago now its not working at all

When I try to access my hotmail account on my android, I get a message that my username and/or password are incorrect. I am 100% sure that I was using the correct password. Then I tried to access my hotmail account on my laptop, and I got the message that "Someone might be using your account", and I could not login or change my password. Now my account has been blocked.

I had to create a new email address just to post this question since it appears there are no other avenues for assistance. I've had my account for about 10 years, so the alternative address for my account is an email address that no longer exists. I completed the account verification survey twice and received an email at another email address stating that I did not provide sufficient information to prove ownership. When I tried to complete the survey for the third time, I recieved a message stating that I had to wait 24 hours before I could submit the survey again. I have the subject titles of recent emails, I have some email addresses of people I have recently emailed, and I have the answer to my security question.

Is there a way for someone to unblock my hotmail account and help me regain access?

Windows Live Mail just stopped working saying that I had to enter the correct password. I did and it still refused to open. Error message came up and told me that I had entered an incorrect password. Now, I do not recall the correct password.

it is very difficult that since yesterday , whenever i try to access my acount , I enter the correct password and still I either have to answer securtiy questions or give alternative email id. sometimes I have urgent emails to reply and this has become a major hinderance . please resolve this issue immediately .
