Group conversation emails

I sent an email to my cousing and later on checking my sent mail - I saw that another person had been included in the mail.

This is not good - as the email to my cousin was private.

After doing some reasearch - I saw that my emails had been grouped together if involving the dame subject. I disable this and now

all is ok. But - when the emails were grouped together - did the other recipient see my email, as well as my cousin?

My dad and his cousin have the same name, so hotmail has combined them to one contact. How do I separate them? It is so confusing seeing the cousin's photo with my dad's email address.

Not getting the invite

I'm trying to add my cousin to my friends list, and he's trying to add me.  I received an invite from him and accepted it, and he was on my list for only 5 - 10 seconds, then vanished.  He said he did not get the accepted request, and has re-issued the invite a few times already.  I have done the same--sent invites to him.  We both then deleted each other from our respective friends list and tried to re-add, no success.
